For placement the visiting companies set up cut off on the basis of mark to filter out students . The cut off set by the companies is around 7 cgpa also they will arrange group discussion in order to filter out students one more time. The mostly visited recruiters are alstom, tcs, larsen and trubo,..... The highest salary package offered by is 12 lpa and 14 lpa on an average salary package offered is around 4 lpa . Almost half of the students from each department gets placed yearly on various sectors. The overall percentage of students placed from my department is 68%. My main plan is to get into any propable job and pursue other modes of studying to get more expertise in the field . Otherwise doing a 6 month course on entri app to get much of the insight on this field .

But students need to enhance emploibility with strong skills for better offers, focusing on personal branding, Upskilling, and lover ranging LinkedIn for opportunities beyond the mass recruitters. If campus placement falls short ,strong resume,technical skills ,online presence , networking and industries specific certificatesare crucial for securing jobs in startups or MNCs through off-campus drives,leveranging internships as a key differentiator. Placement are good, good companies are selected,upto 65 percentage the placement based on the aptitude test and interview the highest LPA upto 12 LPA . The average upto 4LPA .the LPA based on the our performance

Every department in the college offer placements from various companies, this year almost 82 students get placed in many companies from my department eee , companies like L & T , cognizent, tcs , mega power , tata , etc recruit engineers from this college

For placement it should be with no supply is the minimum criteria. But some company allow 1 or 2 supplies. Highest package around 12 lakh and lowest package around 3 lakh. Even though they say 80% student opt for placement got placement, it might will in non technical or for software jobs. But around 50% students gets in core field job. Sometimes it may increase or decrease based on job in market. But getting placement in software is also possible if you take any branches.

Most of the companies prefer students with no backlogs or no current backlogs. And some sets CGPA criteria also.1 got placed in Shobha Dubai from civil Engineering, and about 10 or more got placed in L&T at different areas like Mumbai and Chennai. Gulfasia, Aarbee, Artech, Tcs, integreted etc were some of the other companies. And some got placed in it . Many got placed in an off campus placement from hilite builder in Kozhikode and Thrissur.
