Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, PES College of Engineering Mandya was established in 2006. The college is AICTE and UGC approved, besides being NBA and NAAC Grade A accredited. Outlook and The Week ranked PESCE Mandya at 70 and 96 for BTech, in 2024.
 

PESCE Mandya BE is offered in twelve specialisations. The candidate should have completed 12th grade with 45%, along with Physics, Maths and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. Selection is based on the merit scored in Karnataka CET followed by counselling. This is conducted by DTE Karnataka. For candidates outside Karnataka, having a COMEDK score can apply for admission. KCET-qualified candidates will be given first preference. The total fees for this four year, full time program is Rs 7.64.
In addition to BE, PESCE Mandya courses include MTech, MBA, MCA, MSc and PhD.

PESCE Mandya awards grants scholarships to students from various categories. The Backward Classes Welfare Department grants fee concessions to students from certain categories. The Department of Agriculture supports farmers' children with scholarships. The Karnataka Arya Vysya Community Development Corporation and the Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board assist students from OBC-EWS categories with fee reimbursements. The Department of Technical Education helps SC/ST students with fee support, while the Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Departments grants scholarships to SC and ST students. Besides this, the Collegiate Education, Fisheries, and Handlooms and Textiles Departments also grant scholarships to a few students.

PESCE Mandya Placements are currently ongoing. Out of 716 registered students, 336 students have been placed. A total of 411 jobs were offered. Top recruiters included Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Bosch, BYJUs, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, TATA, Tech Mahindra, Conde Nast, Nokia, and Tata Consultancy Services.
