Sanjivani College Courses and Fees

Computer Engineering and Information Technology receive the most applications, followed by Electronics and Computer Engineering. Mechatronics and Structural Engineering are newer choices and have lower cutoffs. Hostel charges range from INR 35,000 to INR 1,00,000 per year without mess expenses. For a General category student in most branches, tuition and hostel costs together come to INR 7,93,000 to INR 10,53,000 over four years.

Sanjivani College Admission Process

B.Tech seats at Sanjivani College are filled through the DTE Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process. Selection depends on MHT-CET or JEE Main percentile and rank. The college does not hold a separate entrance examination.

B.Tech Admission through DTE Maharashtra CAP

First-year applicants must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. General category students need at least 45% in PCM, while reserved category students require 40%. Applicants using the CAP route must also have a valid MHT-CET or JEE Main score.

1. Meet the Class 12 PCM eligibility requirement and obtain a valid MHT-CET or JEE Main score.
2. Register for the online DTE Maharashtra CAP and enter the preferred branches.
3. Receive an allotment according to rank, category, and submitted preferences.
4. Complete admission against the allotted seat by following the CAP requirements.

• Government quota, 80% of seats: DTE Maharashtra assigns these seats through online CAP. Applicants register, enter branch choices, and receive allotment letters according to category and rank.
• Institute-level quota, 20% of seats: These seats are filled after the CAP rounds. Students who do not meet a CAP cutoff may apply directly to the college, provided they have at least 60% in Class 12 PCM.
• Maharashtra reservations for OBC, SC, ST, VJ, NT, and EWS categories apply to Home University and Other University seats. Students from outside Maharashtra compete for All India seats.

Direct Second Year B.Tech admission requires a three-year diploma in a related engineering branch with at least 45% aggregate marks. This lateral-entry route does not require an entrance test.

M.Tech and MBA Admission

For M.Tech, students need a relevant BE or B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks and a valid GATE score. Seats are allotted through DTE Maharashtra PG CAP. MBA applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks. The Maharashtra PG MBA-MMS CAP considers MAH-MBA CET, CAT, MAT, or CMAT scores.

Sanjivani College Placements

The 2025 placement drive recorded a highest offer of INR 32 LPA. The UG median package stood at INR 4.30 LPA, while PG graduates received a median package of INR 4.50 LPA. More than 165 companies participated, and 601 UG students were placed.

Technology, IT services, and manufacturing are the leading recruitment areas. Software and IT service companies mainly hire Computer Engineering and IT students. Graduates from Mechanical and Civil Engineering move into manufacturing, construction, and core infrastructure work. Sanjivani College in Kopargaon, Amrutvahini College of Engineering in Sangamner, and Pravara Rural Engineering College in Loni are commonly considered by MHT-CET students seeking private autonomous, SPPU-affiliated engineering colleges in Ahmednagar district and north Maharashtra.

All three institutions admit students from the same MHT-CET applicant pool through DTE Maharashtra CAP. Sanjivani and Amrutvahini were established in 1983, while Pravara Rural COE began in 1984. Sanjivani offers Mechatronics and Structural Engineering, which are less common options in the Ahmednagar region. Amrutvahini is another long-established institute with the same NAAC grade. Pravara Rural COE has a medical-college connection through the Pravara Rural Education Society. Students can compare the colleges according to branch choice, MHT-CET rank, and hostel availability.
