St.francis institute of technology-A future for engineering

What I Liked

Good infrastructure good faculty experienced faculty
Good canteen good classes clean classes and ÁC that are working

What I didn’t like

No proper in campus ground to roam or explore or have an out door session
No space for proper cultural events and events in general

Placement Experience:

Placements are good .They provide good internships they help in learning and gaining experiences .companies like Godrej ,reliance,Panasonic do come .there is good scope for students to get into these companies with a good pointer

Remarks:

So I choose this college because I think since it’s become an autonomous college from this year the curriculum is far better made and focuses more on practical knowledge then theoretical.The faculty is good and very helpful when required

Remarks:

When I have given cet entrance exam it was during pandemic so our admission started in october . So I choosen because it is near to mee soo less travelling and less haptic for a day. It is walking distance from dahisar station.

What I Liked

The college have bit good infrastructure, big class room with ac in top 2 floors have 4 lifts ..campus is comparativly small but still better as we have our own basketball chat, volleyball ground, batminton coat, cricket ground, football ground even girls and boys common room which have many indoor games, have big auditorium even every floor have big and clean washrooms
Faculty is educated and experienced once much friendly and kind hearted stick to concept even the college is strict in terms of attendance so students are forcefully mean to learn more things. Teachers also help students to learn much

What I didn’t like

I dislike the campus as it just a quadrangle and some ground but no such place called campus or any big space where students can hangout but still happy as students will be not bunk classes in name of campus
About infrastucture only 6th and 7th floor's classroom and other special room and labs have ac not all classes have them. Even benches are not that nice all stuffs are written on it including on walls of some classes.

Placement Experience:

In order to get better placement you need to maintain 8+ cgpa and lots of skills even have to learn different coding languages and should done many projects the avrage package is of 5 to 10 lakh per annum. Highest package is of 18- 20 lakh. 70- 80 percent of students get assured placement my plan is of getting as much as interships

Remarks:

I have given cet cell exam of maharashtra in pcm where I scored 89.137 percentile and got allotment I cap round 2 ... I have heard about this college from many of my senior as this college is considered to be best college in Department as electronics and telecommunication, computer science and information technology even the fees was reasonable even they provide placement so I took admission here

What I Liked

The teachers are very helpful and are open to helping students.
The college provides opportunities that help students in attaining an all round development of their personalities.

What I didn’t like

The classroom can be improved to a certain extent.
There can be better communication between the student bodies and the college.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement opportunities with various MNCs, startups, and non-technical companies visiting the campus. The college has a record of placing more than 80 percent of its students. The college helps students in attempting as well as preparing for a job as well as internship opportunities.

Remarks:

This college had a great reputation in terms of teaching and future opportunities. Also the college had a decent campus with many facilities which made it an ideal choice for me. I appeared for exams like MH-CET for admission into engineering colleges.

SFIT OVERALL REVIEW

What I Liked

The college has great ambience and the library, labs have well functioning computers and air conditioner.
The fests keep children alive and makes the people enjoy their college life.

What I didn’t like

Dakshata ma'am who teaches microprocessor in sem 4 is the only teacher who doesn't care about students. So inorder to deal with her, avoid talking to her at any cost and worship her as if she is a god.
The canteen food quality is not great annd their aren't much options.

Placement Experience:

Students should have a CGPA over 7.5 for placements. A few of the recruiters who visited the college are Mphasis, Eddify, Zycus infotech, eLitmus, LTI, TCS, etc. For the year 2022-23, 413 placement offers were made. The Highest package was 13 LPA and the average salary was 5 LPA. Offers >5 LPA was 176.

Remarks:

The college is a Cristian Minority college. Hence 77% above in MHT-CET is needed by Christians and 92% above is needed by the general category for getting admission in computer engineering. 12th grade doesn't matter as much, only the MHT-CET score matters. The staircase of the college is quite uneven and students often trip over it so using lifts is much recommended.

SFIT BE MECHANICAL REVIEW

What I Liked

Nothing. College is full of smugs from vasai, virar etc. crowd is very bad and toxic.
The only faculty i liked turned my back on me when i couldn’t submit my file on time because of my accident.

What I didn’t like

I dislike everything from this college.
Canteen is very bad and got me food poisoning last summer

Placement Experience:

Very bad. No placements for mechanical engineering were conducted. Hardly 5-10 companies came to pick 10 students per company. Placement cell is a joke which gives false promises to the students and never follows up on them. I was promised an internship before I went to the UK and I never got it.

Remarks:

The most important factor was the ease of commuting to the college. There were no interviews for regularly admitted students. However, interviews were taken for students who wanted to get admitted via donations.

S.f.i.t college review!!!

What I Liked

The faculty although strict thry are very kind and helpful i feel like every teacher is very approachable and open to clearing your doubts

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is very confuding and the lifts are very slow. And its frustrating at times to go up or down becaure the stairs and so unnessasarily confusing and far away from the classrooms
The people are good and ive made some good friends. :)

Placement Experience:

The placement is not good. With only 10-15 students getting placed in companies every year with average salaries of up? to 5,00,00. If you're doing this degree with the hope of getting a food placement youre not in the right place sadly. I plan to do my master's in electronics after this degree so that ill have better opportunities.

Remarks:

Got recommended by my relatives and honestly my percentage was too low for me to choose colleges and I got in after the cap rounds i got in cus I didn't have any other choice. I believe the cut-off is around 90% not sure

SFIT, a trip

What I Liked

The college is very happening so along with studies extra curricular activities are also paid attention to.
The crowd and faculty are also very friendly and the environment is quite welcoming

What I didn’t like

The classrooms are not air conditioned so it gets a bit hot in the summers
The canteen isnt the best nut its quite moderate

Placement Experience:

According to our seniors the placements are quite good. MNCs such as TCS, Capegemini , Accenture, etc recruit students from the college every year and the placement percentage is quite high with the avg package being 4-5LPA.

Remarks:

It is close from the Dahisar as well as Borivali railway station, plus we have a bus stop right outside the college so travelling is easy. The library as well as laboratories are well equipped, the teaching as well as non teaching staff are quite helpful. If you've scored 92ish in cet and belong to the general quota haha you can get a cs seat in the institutional round and 80+ can for sure get you IT. But if you're aiming for a government scholarship its better to get a college through cap rounds for which the cutoff was 95.5 for cs in 2023. Variety of workshops are conducted to boost your technical knowledge outside the curriculum. The only draw back might be that it comes under MU which has kinda outdated syllabus but the college is trying for autonomy so hope for the best.

My SFIT College Review

What I Liked

The main thing I like about the college is it's infrastructure and faculty that provide a good knowledge and the best way to live the campus life
The campus also provide the extra curricular activities

What I didn’t like

The dislike is about the increase in student which leads to get the knowledge as per the time limit due to extend of the students
The other dislike is the faculty that give the notes or the assignment before the exam to be understood and work on

Placement Experience:

The placement drive is best way to get into betterment of the future the it provide the best way to apply for placement and also to be prepared for the mock interview and question that are asked on the interviews

Remarks:

Yes the nature of the college is best for students and the college give more opportunities towards the students and the placement offers for the students betterment of the college is best for all the Batch present in the college

The college I dreamt

What I Liked

College is awesome the features it offers on price is good Fest Canteen Teacher
The sports committee is also best in this college as we have big ground and a basketball court

What I didn’t like

The distance of the college is too far from my house which makes waste ma 2 hr in travel
The exam are very back to back they should make the gap but longer

Placement Experience:

As I told my brother had completed graduation so he got his 1st job in Mcancy with was 12lpa also this year 35 students got job above 20lpa so placement are very good in my college Cgpa is very important in college becoz on basics of that u can entery form interview I am also looking for job and I will try my best to get the job

My younger brother was is this college he has completed the course and now he is working in Tata he recommended me the college as he as his experience in this college also it is close to my house it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach college so i thought this would be best college to keep at top priority and in Cap round i got
