What I Liked

Faculty are supportive and updated with day to day situation of engineering
Laboratories with working equipments give a better vision
Exposure to competitions like SIH and much more

What I didn’t like

Hectic timing like 9.30 am to 5.30 am ears up the whole day
Canteen is now under renovation luckily but it was not a great condu previously

Placement Experience:

Placements are very decent for Btech in mechanical and automation ranging around (3.5LPA to 10LPA). This is totally dependent on one's performance in the academics and participation in the competitions.

Remarks:

The admission was based completely over MHT-CET/JEE marks through maharashtra govt. Cap round system and there were 3 rounds, each round offers 1 college with 1 particular branch to the student and the student can either freeze or reapply for the next round

What I Liked

The infrastructure of our college is pretty good in terms of building style and campus is not too big but yes it's good enough
Campus Life is not too good but campus is small but pretty good though

What I didn’t like

The faculty here is toogood but some of faculty is pathetically terrible to understand
As I said campus is not so big to campus Life is way too boring

Placement Experience:

The placement in our college is pretty good,but the course which I adopted civil has much good placement,the highest package is 12 lakh per year and average package is 4 package per year,my plans after degree to give government exams..

Remarks:

Admission process is through cutoff that we got by giving mhtcet basis or by jee mains exam too,and the students got higher percentile in mhtcet or jee mains has got 50 percent concession in there fees

WIT college : A loyal student's perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching is very good, teachers teach you and encourage you, appreciate you always, exams are very easy and they ask in exam whatever was taught in lectures, so far everything is easy going , I'm into electronics so i took this course

It's near my house and teaching is very good, No interview, there was no test, just based on Mhtcet Or JEE marks they consider, I scored 83 percentile in Mhtcet so I was able to get admission through cap round,

My life as witian.

Placement Experience:

Placements in college are avg as per the college intake. There are so many companies are coming in the campus like TCS,hsbc,galaxy etc companies are nowadays there for the placements. Around 70 percent of the students get placed from the campus

Remarks:

The main factor to choose this college is my marks due to marks are very poor so I have to take admission in this college. Also I am jain minority student then I will require less marks for the admission.

All You Want To Know About Walchand Institute Of Technology, Solapur

What I Liked

I like the college infrastructure and the college ambience
Classrooms have projectors which makes easy to learn

What I didn’t like

Timing of the college is very long and there are not many free periods
Campus Life is not so good as the campus is small .

Placement Experience:

Placements can measured and rated at moderate to good , eligiblity criteria for placements depends on company to company. Tata Motors visited last year and 7 students from the Mechanical and automation were placed int Tata Motors.

Remarks:

College has a very good reputation and has a very impactful placement record in its past years .No, there will be no group discussions or interviews fi=or admission in the college .Admission process is simple and the faculty is very kind and supportive which makes the admission process very easy.

Awesome collgew

What I Liked

P cross structure is actually awesome so that they can feel home like
Due to the faculty they are very friendly faculties and they also Hindu student

What I didn’t like

Is like about the college regarding 3rd semester examination
The hostel is not good and also and also at a time of submission faculty must be a rude

Placement Experience:

Replace medical so available so there are lots of companies can be come in the college like a Flipkart Google Amazon TCS Tesla etc o where are also they can also provide the internship to the 3rd or 4th year student

Remarks:

To college was autotrophs so that you can take the college admission easily and also there is a no need to go any university so that it is very helpful or important factor to choose or select this college

Navigating WIT Solapur through student's point of view

What I Liked

Infrastructure of college is quite amazing
Faculties are experienced and most of them are PHD holders.

Placement Experience:

Many Companies Visit to Campus and WIT is having good placement records. Students with good CGPA and nice behaviour record will get placed in college campus placement drive for sure Last Year(2023-24) highest package was 18lpa and 3lpa avg package . In IT branch around 70% students got placement. I have decided to take placement in college campus as it's very important Nowadays because if you go outside campus there is huge competition.

Remarks:

First of all WIT, Solapur is good college with experienced faculty. What i love about my college is that they encourage you to take participate in various competitions like coding,techquiz, animation etc. also they support you in SIH competition. So Let's Talk about facilities that WIT provides is Well Technically Equipped Labs, Projector Classrooms and Library with study rooms. But only thing I don't like my college is not taking any proper motivation and guidance programmes like other colleges do. To Take Admission in College you can entroll through cap- round process by giving MHT-CET(State level entrance exam). For MHT-CET cutoff for CS/IT is around 93%ile-96%ile and 40%ile-60%ile for Civil&Mech. Also there are various branches in WIT . CS,IT,ENTC,MECH,CIVIL,ECM,MECH-AUTOMATION..etc I got 94%ile in MHT-CET in 2022 so i got admission in WIT.

Review of WIT, SOLAPUR

What I Liked

The college is building is nice having clean classrooms.
The faculties are teaching very well and excellent explanations clearing the concepts easier.

What I didn’t like

The college campus is small that you can only roam in the college buildings.
For mechanical , civil department the workshop is not good.

Placement Experience:

There is in campus placement offered. Many companies came for hiring students like Accenture, Infosys Ltd, IBM and many more... They mostly offer an average package of 6 lpa every year and the highest package is of 11 lpa this year. Almost more than 75% students get placed every year.

Remarks:

This college is top college in the Solapur city and it is an autonomous institution . Admission in this college is based on CET/JEE MAIN examination scores and the last year cutoff for computer science was 90 percentile for general category students.There are no written tests for admission in this college.

Walchand college is good.....

What I Liked

College faculty members are ao good and friendly.
College has good infrastructure and so clean.

What I didn’t like

Wifi speed is not give good speed to students.
Campus is so small and sport facilities are not good.

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is not so good. Placement ratio is not good. 50% students will get not placed from here. And students intakes are also so more , so competition will be more increased. Intern ship get 50% students. Highest packege is 18 lpa out campus through Flipkart.

Remarks:

College has good infrastructure and good clean ness. College ranking is also so good. College average package is also good. Here jain kota is reserved for 50% students. Cet cut off of college for cse branch is 90 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college provides all the basic and popular courses software and hardware both courses are provided here and all the facilities like labs and machinery are Available here. They are in good condition and we use them in labs. The faculties are good too.

Remarks:

The 1st factor made me choose this college was that it is in my home town and I heard from many seniors that placements here are decent and the infrastructure is also good thses all factors made me choose this college
