GGDSD Chandigarh offers B.Sc., BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Voc, Diploma in Medical Lab Technology at the UG level and M.Sc., MA, M.Com, PG Diploma and MEFB programs at the PG level along with the Ph.D. program in Chemistry and Biotechnology at the doctoral level.   • BBA, B.A., and BCA admission at the undergraduate level is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the higher secondary or 10+2 with the relevant subjects from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate whereas candidates who have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks are considered eligible for B.Sc. admission
  • For MA admission, candidates must hold Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks. However, for admission to M.Sc and M.Com courses, candidates must have completed graduation in the science stream and must have passed B.Com or BBA respectively.
  • For admission to PG Diploma course, candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized Board could opt for Diploma Degree program.
  • Admission to M.Sc. (Physics, Biotechnology, and Bioinformatics) and MEFB is given through PUCET conducted by Punjab University with merit in the qualifying examination.
  • Ph.D. admissions are based on the candidate's score in PU Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by Punjab University. However, candidates who have qualified SLET/ UGC NET/ CSIR NET / GATE exam are given preference during admission. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the previous Master’s / M.Phil degree to be eligible for admission.
