BIMTECH Admission 2027 is open for the 2 year flagship PGDM batch of 2027-29. Students can apply at bimtech.ac.in by paying a non-refundable application fee of INR 2,250. BIMTECH does not offer management quota or direct admission. Seats are filled through CAT, XAT, GMAT and CMAT scores, while MAT 2026-27 is also accepted for the IBM and RM programmes.

• The expected cutoff stays at the 75th percentile for CAT, XAT and GMAT, and at the 95th percentile for CMAT.
• Students who clear the shortlisting stage appear for an Extempore and Personal Interview.
• The final merit score gives 35% weightage to entrance exam percentile and 25% to PI and Extempore, along with past academics, engineering degree, work experience, regional diversity and gender weightages.
• BIMTECH usually publishes the final selection list in March, and classes normally start in June/July.

The full-time PGDM has 300 seats and 45 supernumerary seats. PGDM IB, PGDM IBM and PGDM RM have 60 seats each. The complete tuition fee is INR 14 lakh. Hostel and mess charges are paid separately at INR 3.3 lakh and INR 1.7 lakh for two years because all programmes are residential. BIMTECH also offers the Fellow Programme in Management, Executive Fellow Programme in Management for working professionals, and a 2 year Online PGDM at one-tenth of the cost.

BIMTECH PGDM Admission 2027

PGDM is BIMTECH's main full-time management programme. It has 300 merit seats and 45 supernumerary seats. Students can also apply for these specialisations:

• PGDM (International Business)
• PGDM (Insurance Business Management)
• PGDM (Retail Management)

Each of these three specialisations has 60 seats. Supernumerary seats are not offered for these three programmes.

• BIMTECH checks entrance percentile along with the student's past academic record for shortlisting.
• Only shortlisted students move to the next admission round.
• PGDM Insurance Business Management and PGDM Retail Management also accept MAT scores. PGDM and PGDM International Business do not accept MAT.

Eligibility Criteria for BIMTECH PGDM 2027

BIMTECH does not hold its own entrance test for PGDM admission. A student needs a bachelor's degree of at least three years with 50% marks.

For Class 10 and Class 12 marks, BIMTECH counts the aggregate of all subjects, including optional subjects. If a student studied seven subjects, all seven are included. Using a board-based best-of-five score can create a mismatch during verification.

Choosing an Entrance Exam for BIMTECH Admission 2027

Students may submit more than one entrance score, and BIMTECH uses the best score before the final offer. Scholarship rules are different. The Late Basant Kumar Birla Admission Merit Scholarship, worth up to INR 5 lakh, is given only on CAT or XAT percentiles. CMAT or MAT can help a student get admission, but they do not make the student eligible for this scholarship.

A practical exam plan can work like this:

• CAT 2026 can be the main attempt because it is accepted by many schools and is also valid for scholarship. Registration closes in mid-September 2026.
• XAT 2027 gives another scholarship-eligible attempt in early January after CAT.
• CMAT 2027 is accepted across all four BIMTECH programmes and can work as a backup if CAT and XAT scores are weak.
• GMAT is useful for students who already have a valid score or are also applying abroad or to one-year programmes. BIMTECH accepts scores from 2025 and 2026-27.
• MAT 2026-27 should be used only by students aiming for Insurance Business Management or Retail Management.

BIMTECH PGDM Selection Criteria 2027

The PGDM admission process has two stages. First, BIMTECH shortlists students using entrance percentile and academics. Next, shortlisted students appear for the Extempore round and Personal Interview.

Important Selection Rules:

• Students from NIRF top 100 institutes receive extra weightage.
• Regional diversity weightage is given only with valid domicile certificate, passport or Aadhaar proof.
• Work experience is counted only if it was in an executive or supervisory role.
• The work role must be at least one year old on the cut-off date.
• The employer must be a registered company with turnover of INR 10 crore or more in FY 2025-26.
• The management may relax this condition for startup founders.
• Students must upload their entrance percentile after the result is announced.
• BIMTECH does not release an official cutoff percentile. Its merit scholarship starts at 85 percentile in CAT or XAT.

Because of the composite score, a student with 78 percentile, a strong interview, engineering background, qualifying work experience and non-NCR regional weightage can score above a student with 90 percentile who has none of those profile points.

BIMTECH Interview Mode

BIMTECH Noida conducts the interview in two formats:

• Online mode
• Offline mode at Greater Noida (BIMTECH Campus), Bangalore, Cochin, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata and Pune

The institute can change the interview or selection mode without giving reasons. Students should plan travel and availability accordingly.

How to Apply for BIMTECH PGDM?

• Go to the official portal at online.admissions.bimtech.ac.in.
• Register with a working email ID and mobile number.
• Enter Class 10, Class 12 and graduation marks.
• Choose the PGDM programme or programmes for which you want to apply.
• Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 2,250.
• Upload your entrance test percentile after the result is declared.
• Appear for the Extempore and Personal Interview if shortlisted.
• Accept the offer and pay the admission fee to reserve the seat.

All BIMTECH full-time programmes are residential. Students must include hostel and mess charges while planning the total cost because these add more than INR 4,95,000 for the two-year programme duration.

Documents Required for BIMTECH Admission 2027

BIMTECH sends certificates to the issuing authorities for verification. If admission is taken through fake or changed documents, it is cancelled immediately and no refund is given. Category documents must be submitted at the time of the first fee instalment.

• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
• Graduation marksheets and degree certificate
• Entrance exam scorecard, with official copy required after receiving an offer
• Category certificate for ESCS claims, in the correct format and current validity
• Income certificate from the SDM or authorised revenue officer, or a recent ITR assessment order, for EWS
• Residence proof for regional weightage: domicile certificate, passport or Aadhaar
• Work experience letter showing role, duration and employer turnover, if claiming that weightage
• Proof of PIO, OCI, foreign national or Gulf-worker-child status for supernumerary applicants
• Passport-size photographs matching the exam application

Withdrawal and refund. As per AICTE guidelines, if a student withdraws before the programme begins and a waitlisted student fills the seat, the full fee is refunded after deducting INR 1,000.

If a student leaves after the course starts and the seat is not filled, only the refundable part is returned. The application fee is never refunded.
