College Life At VSIT Mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in finance and that's the reason I chose this course. Faculty of this college are really good and polite. The term exams were unit test taken every semester along with the semester exams. And the plus point would be the class tests taken on timely basis.

Remarks:

There is no minority quota which makes easier for other students to get admission. The class tests are taken on timely basis which are mostly topic based so that makes easy for you to study and also your semester exams preparation gets covered because of such class tests.

All about vidhyalankar school of information technology

What I Liked

Definitely the canteen. We have CCD, RIBBONS AND BALLOONS, NESCAFE, AND A CANTEEN WITH BEST FAST FOODS
Den is a place which can be described as a game zone. We got snooker, ps5, tt, chess, carrom , air hockey, and gaming pcs

What I didn’t like

Formals that we have to wear for 2 days which is Tuesdays and Thursdays
Also the basketball court which they won't repair.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Facilities are the best. They are very helpful not just for your educational purposes, also for your non educational problems. Few of them are truly annoying ofc but mostly the faculty is great atleast for BMS

Remarks:

It was on the basis of 12th grade's percent. Now you have to give CET. As per the new education policy. All the new students will have more subjects. And you'll have to give CET for getting admission atleast for BMS

Review for Vidyalankar School of Information Technology

What I Liked

I loved my faculties because they were very helpful to me in my academic period
Campus life and infrastructure of the campus is damn great like i had enjoyed my college life with this college and my friends.

Placement Experience:

Since first year i had opportunities for internships in this college and like after 5th sem the placement portal starts for main placements and different companies approaches for the placments, each company has its own eligibility criteria but mostly as i know we should have average cgpa more than 8 and no kts allowed.

Remarks:

Campus seems to be great, also education provided here is quite valuable, and to take admission in this college we have to score atleast 50 % for BSCIT course like it is first come and first serve process, no list process is needed here. Only thing is the fees is comparatively higher than other colleges but it gives a great experience.

What I Liked

Faculty were top notch with best teaching techniques
NSS community since I am student who is into social welfare.

Placement Experience:

Score good in the academies you’ll have a good chance of getting placed but again it varies company to company also keep adding extracurricular activities and complete certification courses for the getting placed in a top company.

Remarks:

Influenced by relatives reviews, friends and by looking at average package.And no I didn’t face any GD, PI or written tests for admission you get admission based on on your 12th standard marks or score.

Genuine review by a Recent 2024 Pass Out Student.

What I Liked

I liked the Staff as they are very professional and friendly to students and helps you evenif they wont teach you.
I liked the ac rooms as it helps to concentrate on studies in humid climates too. and helps to focus on lectures instead of complaining about sound rain or summer and all. Thus helping students. to study hard without any distractions

What I didn’t like

I didnt like the office facilities, as mostly the people in the office are not in the position and we have to visit office again and again for same tasks
The rules related to the DEN playroom are very wrong for students, as they won't allow it every day, and they won't allow them to play at the time of a lecture, even if lectures are cancelled.

Placement Experience:

I can tell just for 2024 their were campus placements but they were in a ratio of 1:6, i.e. If we got 6 times more opportunities in the sales and BPO sectors, then IT's college performance for placements wasn't good enough for this year, as per my understanding, and I don't trust any placement guarantee or percentage here or anywhere.

Remarks:

Their was no such entry barrier in the college; you can get the admissions easily; just come fast. No major cutoffs are expected. The admission process will be smooth as Staaf will help in every manner, and for any issues, the computer labs of the college can be used too.

Unveiling the best and worst: a comprehensive college review

What I Liked

The campus, canteen and the sports room are what I liked personally as I love playing different games .
Even the faculty of the college is too sweet and friendly with the students they try to give as many examples and motivation stories they can give .

Placement Experience:

They provide many placements and internship for students. Even college keeps placement training session for students so they can know whats actually done while placement interviews etc companies like Wipro, Motilal Oswal comes for placement interviews.

Remarks:

the fact of a well known college with other facilities like sports department and extra curricular activities and different placement options and the different seminars which are made for students was the reason to choose this college.

Placement Experience:

I have not opted for any placement or internship I joined my own family business to gain on field experience with my knowledge and skills I can grow the business which will help our own company. Our business is of Logistics

Remarks:

The faculty was good in teaching providing excellent knowledge to the students so that they could understand in a very simple manner. The admission process is based on first come first serve but minimum requirement is 60%+ in 12th board exam

The college is good as per studies.

What I Liked

Infrastructure of college is good and has the eye catching views.
Faculty of Vidyalankar are one of he sorted faculties I have experienced.

What I didn’t like

College also has the inter college fest named Vigour.
The ground of the college is not that big as we expect.

Placement Experience:

From my course, last year the placed students percentage was around 34-40%. The highest package in my course was 6.8L, lowest 2.2L, average 3.4L Top recruiting companies are TCS, Concentrix, Motilal Oswal, etc Around 16-17, students got internships in well-known companies.

Remarks:

The look and the infrastructure of the college are mind-blowing, I mean the size of the campus is quite good and the conditions are also very well maintained. For connectivity, there is free Wi-Fi for students provided by the college for free. But colleges get one step back when it comes to sports. No GD PI or entrance for my course admission.

College through my eyes

What I Liked

Teachers actually put efforts in teaching and make sure everyone is learning
The amount of opportunities provided and the way teachers encourage us to join in activities

What I didn’t like

Canteen food is expensive and only serves veg, but bcuz there are outlets this isn’t much of a problem
Very strict regarding attendance and number of lectures you attend

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria is no kt and first class in 12th, many companies like wipro, capegemini, tcs come in for placement, average package is of 4lpa, and 20% students get placement, I prefer applying for job through college placements after my degree

Remarks:

I really liked the campus and the infrastructure of the college, which attracted me to take admission here, also everything looked well maintained and the classrooms were AC and the campus had Wi-Fi . no there weren’t any gd/interviews/tests.
