BJB Autonomous College is accepting online application forms for admissions to Self-financing UG and PG courses for the academic year 2024-25. The application forms were made available on the official institute website from August 2024. The application process for undergraduate self-financing courses is now coming to an end as the last date to apply for the same is September 2024 whereas the application process for self-financing postgraduate courses shall continue till September 2024 (Tentative). The admission process will start after the publication of merit lists. The admission dates, however, are not yet announced. 

For all courses offered by BJB Autonomous College, 95% of the total number of seats are reserved for candidates from Orissa. Generally, students scoring above 90% in their qualifying exams get admitted to various courses at the institute. Students who have completed their Higher Secondary in Science stream can pursue a degree programme in any of the three streams. Business Administration, Electronics and Telecommunications, Bioinformatics, and Information Technology & Management are among the three five-year integrated programmes offered by the college. A three-year Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Management is also available at the college.
