St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli established in 1884, is an autonomous institution affiliated with Bharathidasan University. In 2024, it was ranked 25th out of 300 colleges in India by NIRF.

The college offers UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D, and vocational courses. Additionally, St. Joseph’s College provides MBA twinning programs with specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management (HRM), International Business, and General Management, as well as the MCA program. The total fee for the MBA program is INR 7 lakhs, while the MCA program costs INR 84,000.

The eligibility criteria for an MBA is that the candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50% marks. For the MCA program, applicants must have a degree with a major in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Commerce, or Computer Science.

St. Joseph’s College accepts scores from TANCET, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MAT for admission to its MBA programs, while TANCET is required for the MCA program. The college also offers various scholarships, including the Jesuit Educational Support (JES), Backward Classes Welfare, and Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare, to support financially disadvantaged and academically meritorious students.

The St. Joseph College placement report for 2024 has yet to be released. However, during the 2023 placement drive, the MBA department achieved the highest CTC of INR 13.80 LPA. Top recruiters included ICICI Bank, Wipro, TATA Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Asian Paints, T.I.M.E, Reliance Trends, and many others.
