All About IITM janakpuri

What I Liked

so the crowd is good of the campus eveyone belongs to decent family there is no rush and all
canteen area is one of the biggest canteens of any college of ipu that’s my fav spot to have chit chat with friends there or any discussion

What I didn’t like

infrastructure is to small of the college there are two buildings in the campus and less space to walk
faculty is so strict sometimes they started calling your home just for the submission and all

Placement Experience:

placements rate is 93% in iitm they provide u the best companies from their side some of the companies visited are wipro,amazon,deloitte,tcs,etc the highest pay they are giving was 38000 and the minimum was 15000 there is no crititeria for students to get eligible for interview oolr enrollment of company

Remarks:

first of all this college was very near to my home and it is one of the top colleges in IP university not in infrastructure but studies and their placement is also around 93% and i got the name in the cutoff list

College was really good.

What I Liked

College was overall average and good. This college provides everything according to the fees
It had hygienic labs and computers with good specifications. This made every student excited about the lab periods.
Crowd was really good.Students were educated and came from very good houses.
There was high availibility of cafes and places to hangout.
Faculties were really good and supportive about the students.

What I didn’t like

Campus was very short and students faced much challenges due to excess number of clubs.
There was no sports ground due to that students performed really bad at the sports meets.
Some faculties really didn't take pain and and just read out the ppt's and taught us.

Placement Experience:

Placements were pretty average and highest package companies offered were 4LPA and after 5th semester students are eligible for the placements and most of students were placed. Around 70 percent of students are placed here. Companies like TCS,RBS,Amazon come here and place the students.

Remarks:

Yes I gave and entrance test for it and i ranked 1864 out of 10,000 students at that time and i didn't face any GD, Interviews for it. Good Aspects about this college-: 1.This provides good facilities according to the fees. 2.It is affordable. 3.It has good canteen food. 4.this college has good faculties which are very supportive. 5.Crowd is also good. Bad Aspects-: 1.Canteen is sometimes unhygienic. 2.Doesn't have a sports ground. 3.Some faculties don't take pain they just read PPT and teach us. 4.Campus is very small

What I Liked

college has a good conditions classroom with proper air conditioners
college has a very big and good infrastructure cafeteria for chill

What I didn’t like

the campus is very small and has no parking .
the college does not have any ground for sports.

Placement Experience:

the eligibility criteria for placement depends on company to company mostly graduated students are eligible for placement tcs , wipro ltd , SAP labs, true blue , airtel etc highest placement goes till 560 students my plans after the BBA is do job and do MBA

i write the ipu-CET exam for admission in my college i got 7852 rank in the exam due to which i alloted this college the factors that made me choose this college is that its placement after course completion is good and it also provide internship opportunity in 4th sem

An Unbiased review of IITM

What I Liked

I like the canteen of my college as it is very clean and has many items in the MENU.
I like the library of college as I can do my work and assignments there and it's very peaceful.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the lift of my college as the teachers don't allow students to use it.
I dislike the common are of the college as there is crowd sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement is that you can attend the placement only after fourth semester. The few visited recruiters are Amazon, TCS and Vipro and they made offers from ?1,00,000 to ?4,00,000. The average package is of ?2,00,000. Many students get the placement and their percentage is around 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree are to do masters degree that is MBA and then start my own business.

Remarks:

My friends recommended this college to me, that's why I researched on it and took admission. The college has good environment and the facilities are also good. The teachers are friendly and always there to help you. To take admission you have to give CET or CUET exam and your shift will be decided based on your exam rank. I took tution classes to prepare for these exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have choose bba because i want to pursue my own business so i'll get some knoweledge from that and the 1 sem was of 6 month and after that the exam has started now i have recently given my first exam and it was moderate

Remarks:

No , i haven't taken any Group Discussions, Interviews but i have given the exam of ipucet which gave me the college iitm according to my rank and as i have choose that college because it is near to me home so it will save my travelling expense

IITM gave me a few good memorable years of my life.

What I Liked

Campus Life was great as there were all major festivals celebrated with in the campus.
Faculty was also friendly to the students

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure was pretty average as there was no lift.
Placement cell was also kind of bad.

Placement Experience:

There was no support provided by the college in providing any internship. All the students had to find an internship by themselves. Also at the time of placement the college didn't helped must the companies were average and the pay was also pretty average.

Remarks:

I gave the general Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University. In which I got around 6300 rank out of 10000 and I was able to get in the college in the second spot round.

Good college for academics but not good for extra- curricular activities

What I Liked

I like that the college is easily accessible to multiple mode of transportation
The college is neat and clean the washrooms and classroom are always clean and the labs are also good

What I didn’t like

It is more like school rather than college teacher
The college dont support much extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

The college allows students to go on internships after their second year, but the internships can only last for six weeks. So far, the placements have not been very good; the recruitment cell is bringing in companies that are not related to our fields. However, the companies are coming nonetheless.

Remarks:

I enrolled in this college because it was near to my home and is also good in academics. This college doesn't have good det extracurricular activities but the studies are up to the mark. They have good professors who will teach u much more than u can actually learn from the course itself. to get selected in this college u have to give an exam of IPU-CET which is a university based exam . once u get your rank u will be able to decide which college u want to go to.

GGSIPU - IITM college student review

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good, classes and labs are good as compared to other colleges.
Faculty members are cooperative and hardworking.

What I didn’t like

Campus is very small as compared to other colleges having same fee structure.
Same campus is made for two colleges which is IINTM and IITM.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements and job opportunities are not that good but there are clubs formed for internships which help in creating job opportunities for students. Many companies visit for placement every year.

Remarks:

I got this college in the 3rd round after taking the IPU-CET exam. I had a good rank but the problem is I am a resident of outside Delhi. Inside Delhi students get 85-90% reservation which is not fair. Cut-off for inside Delhi students is easy which is around 7-8k but for outside Delhi, your rank should be around 3-4k.

Good and bad thing about our college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility Criteria for placement are that we should have a CGPA of more than 6 every semester ( total of 6 semesters) and there should be no back in any Semester name there are many visited recruiters in our college like TCS, and Deloitte my plans after getting the degree is that I will not sit for the placements after BBA I would go and opt for higher studies like MBA after that I will be doing job but my main goal is to open my startup job will help me in getting experience and collection of monetary resources

Remarks:

the best aspect of this due to which I have been admitted here is the Environment of this college and their faculty and their campus the admission process was very simple like criteria for getting admission is by giving CET Exam of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University I have prepared for this exam with the help of youtube and second most thing that I have taken admission in this college is that it is very near from my home it takes only 10 min for me to reach college not hustling in metro and the thing that I disliked about my college is that it Has not a very big campus like all other colleges have of IP and second thing I disliked about our college is the internal exam pattern

What I Liked

Faculty are very good they are understanding and very helpful
I liked campus life here the different event in a short span the clubs and different opportunities for extra activities

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is the thing i dont like the campus is small and we dont have a volleyball or any ground to play on
The strictness of the college and less holidays i have heard other college gives holidays on every Saturday but there is no holidays despite fourth Saturday the college is like a school

Placement Experience:

The internships and placement opportunities are good i have seen my seniors getting placed in Wipro etc and recently there was an event led by the internship cell of our college in which a lot of our college's students were offered an internship by different companies for the job role web developer graphic designing etc, I have my plan to do masters in cybersecurity

Remarks:

To get admission in IPU colleges you have to take an exam called input which is held by IPU University and based on your ranking you are then allowed a college, i chose this college because of my rank and the fees were suitable for me
