- Infrastructure is good, classes and labs are good as compared to other colleges.
- Faculty members are cooperative and hardworking.
Dislikes
- Campus is very small as compared to other colleges having same fee structure.
- Same campus is made for two colleges which is IINTM and IITM.
Remarks :
I got this college in the 3rd round after taking the IPU-CET exam. I had a good rank but the problem is I am a resident of outside Delhi. Inside Delhi students get 85-90% reservation which is not fair. Cut-off for inside Delhi students is easy which is around 7-8k but for outside Delhi, your rank should be around 3-4k.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a good interest in business but I didn't have commerce in higher studies so i was not eligible for DU colleges. So I decided to get admission in GGSIPU University. The teachers are good and hardworking. Exams are also of medium difficulty. Internal exams are held in the campus and final external exams are held in another college of the university which is again a problem for students to travel too far.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements and job opportunities are not that good but there are clubs formed for internships which help in creating job opportunities for students. Many companies visit for placement every year.
Campus Life :
The campus is not big but all the necessary places are there. Canteen, Library, computer labs, and an auditorium for events. There are also clubs of many things like dance, event management, sports, etc but no place for sports inside the campus.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
