University of Madras , Reputable yet Inconsistent

What I Liked

Affordability : The entire course of degree can be completed for the cost of under 40,000 which includes study materials and exam fee
Flexibilty : University of Madras provides wide variety of courses ranging from diploma to masters and Phd in both regular and distance mode

What I didn’t like

Placements : University of Madras does not provide any placement offers for distance education mode
Assistance and Support : The University is very negligent when comes to replying to queries and does not maintain a regular schedule of exams and results

Placement Experience:

University of Madras does not provide any assistance in placements for distance education mode, however as it is a valid degree equivalent to formal degree it can be used as a recognition of completion of degree and can be used to apply for jobs

Internships Opportunities:

Using the leverage as a student , I applied and did an internship on my own for a duration of 3 months at BOT VFX in Chennai, I completed the internship for the role of animator . The University in itself does not provide any internship opportunities but students can secure a internship using their status of a student
