The life in shridevi institute of medical sciences.

What I Liked

I like the college itself , college life is very good here . Infrastructure is not up to the mark. Faculties have a great knowledge. Campus life is very social.

What I didn’t like

College won't support financial to our graduation and we should only put money for that. Infrastructure should be improved much.

Placement Experience:

Since ours is medical profession , no such opportunities are there . There is no placement or job apportunity here u can just complete your medicine. There is no compus placement. My plan is to study hard and get a pg seat in good government college.

Remarks:

I have got this college on my NEEt ranking. I thought about this college because the transportation form my home town ( shimogga ) is quite easy . Amoungest the college that I would get , I choose this college because this college has good reviews . And I just took the help of one of my seniors in choosing the college and did not face any group discussion or anything like that .

Shridevi - a brief review

What I Liked

Sports and gym facilities are amazing for athletes like me
Professional doctors teach us everything we have to learn

What I didn’t like

Mess food is not nutritious enough for students
Hostel is too strict for students and give less freedom for someone of our age 18+

Placement Experience:

After completing the course, in medical colleges we don't get placements all over india, but the job opportunities are high after wards ranging from 40000 to 1.5 lakhs, depending on your skill l, otherwise most students prefer to prepare for post graduation test that is neet pg

Remarks:

The institute offers reaserch programs as well. And the institute is near banglore so that was also one of the reasons to join this college. I had given NTA based NEET-UG examination in which I got 542 marks in 2020 year.

What I Liked

The focus on the academics by the faculty is great for students
The sports and cultural infrastructure provided is important for us
The all year functions keep us from getting stressed

What I didn’t like

Mess food is sometimes bad and we have to order from outside many times
There is a strictness on timings of the hostel

Placement Experience:

After the completion of our course, we have a one year internship in our shridevi hospital We have to work in each department for almost a month with the doctors and post graduates and get to learn a lot They are very friendly and eager to teach us all the skills and knowledge which they have gathered so that we have enough practice to come out as good doctors after the completion of internship and get good jobs In medical colleges, placements are not done, but they make us capable enough to find jobs anywhere in the country ranging from 40k per month to 110k per month depending on skill level

Remarks:

I got admission through neet ug in which I scored 545 marks in first attempt I wanted a college in my hometown in haryana like sgt, PGI rohtak, kcmc etc for which I tried but couldn't get through counselling due to not being able to clear cutoff Next I tried for AIIMS but couldn't get those also due to high cutoff that year I had heard of Karnataka being good in medicine courses so my next step was applying there I tried counselling in Bangalore colleges like ms ramaiah, bgs,bms, Oxford mc, east point mc etc but couldn't get that due to little difference in cutoff Then I chose shridevi in my mop up round due to good reviews and accessibility
