Truth About GOVERNMENT HOLKAR SCIENCE COLLEGE.

What I Liked

Curriculum curriculum of Holkar science college is best among all .
Faculty is good in our college with inspiring teachers.

What I didn’t like

Campus life is not even there as we don't have much events in our college.
Clubs like drama club dance club and singing club should be there but they are not correctly but I hope tell me in future.

Placement Experience:

We don't have placement in bsc but I'm preparing for MSc entrance exam. Like IIT JAM and gate but if someone doesn't want to prepare for MSc entrance is you can also pursue 4th year honours from the college.

Remarks:

I choose it because it's top science College in Madhya Pradesh and I got admission on basis of 12 th standard Marks. And it was close to my home town. Our college offers research which was also a important point

The Best Science College of Madhya Pradesh

What I Liked

The first thing I like about college is the very fresh infrastructure as the new buildings have been built recently which includes all the new department building such as biotechnology labs the labs are well equipped with modern instruments. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Library is with modern facilities. The another thing about this colleges it is well green covered with so many plants and trees. The campus life here was very cool. The garden of college is always filled with students the students complete their work , chatter and spend good time in the garden .
The faculties are also good some are good and quite friendly as well they discuss and guid you throughout your college life for getting the maximum profit of being there. The CCE files and other files are being properly guided and prescribed to you before you submit them. The teachers counselling you before any examinations they also guide you for how to prepare in the exams and also tell you about choosing the perfect books from which you can get more better marks. The faculty for each subject and in each semester is new , thus new and fresh chances of beginning the semester. The exams are being held in the college itself. College is autonomous.

What I didn’t like

The most irritating thing was construction throughout my college time. New new buildings were being formed and that is the reason the roads were poorly damaged and it was difficult to walk and reach to the another corner of the college as it is covered with large area.
The next week no was canteen. During the first two years The students have to go around 500 m to reach to any food option. After the construction of a building Indore coffee house was opened in the college and it offered only few options. The parking area of the college is also very poorly managed. In rainy season, to walk on the roads is quite difficult as you have to jump and you might get hurt. There is no proper drainage system. The washrooms of the college are also not properly hygiene maintained the only the new building washrooms are very good as they are equipped. Maximum time there is no water in the college. There is only one water cooler in the centre of the college and one at the entrance does it is quite difficult to go and fill your bottles so you need to bring big bottles.

Placement Experience:

This college offers company placements in the form of job Mela after your graduation is completed the interviews are being held as per the choices of your companies. If you get selected you can get the maximum package ranging in BSC biotechnology field from 3-6 LPA. The lowest package during my batch was 2.2 lpa. Eligibility criteria for placement is that the students have completed his her graduation course and also have completed all the kind of fees. The percentage of getting the placement is quiet law if you are too good in the 3 years of your college bachelors program or masters program you can get package or interview chance easily. I have not applied for placement because I had another goals and I want to join the education field so I started teaching. I'll complete the masters along with my school teaching.

Remarks:

The admission process for getting into this college is very simple. When MP higher education releases the admission form period you have to fill the form from MP online and go to e-pravesh portal where you fill your all details for getting into the college. Dent allotment letter is issued to you before that you fill your choices of preferred colleges and course. Generally you can get into the college from first counselling second counselling or third counselling if there are seeds remained you will be eligible for CLC college level counselling. Getting into this college is not a big task of you have good grades in 12th. You must be eligible for the course based on your Higher Secondary School subject and streams.

Holkar College Experience

What I Liked

The buildings are GOOD , the garden is good
The canteen is good as it is INDIAN COFFEE HOUSE.

What I didn’t like

The offline culture of the college , it's very bad every form you have to fill offline and stand in big lines
Most of the teaching faculty are they themselves illiterate and doesn't know about anything regarding the subject , they just teach you from internet

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was nice I had to do bioinformatics and zoology as well along with my major subject computer science. My major was CS , minor was Bioinformatics, and vocational was zoology , however after 1st year we can change it. But we can't change the major subject , I changed bioinformatics and zoology with CS subjects so I had three CS subjects in the second and third year.

Remarks:

This was the only good govt. Science college in indore , so I decided to take admission in it as other govt. colleges were either new or commerce colleges. I got admitted through MP EPRAVESH Portal , and I'm pretty sure that's the only way to get admitted , the cutoff was very low , I scored 69.60 in my 12th and still got bsc CS in the third CLC round of counselling.

Holkar science College

What I Liked

Their behaviour and helping Nature was so good
Management system of Holkar science College was best

What I didn’t like

Because it was a government college so documenting process is too late

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good of our campus TCS and TCL are the companies who recruits from our college average package is 4LPA and highest package is 14LPA my plans after this is to do masters in computer architecture

Remarks:

This college is one of the best college for BCA in Madhya Pradesh and admissions were conducted on the merit basis this college is also best for those students who are seeking there future in defence as students who did NCC from here is widely recognised

The life of freshers .

What I Liked

The HOD, faculty and all my friends of college is very sweet and kind.
I hope my friends and me stay connected.

What I didn’t like

My college has some timing issues which I don't like .
As it's a government college so some political leaders are came always to our college which I don't like.

Placement Experience:

It is my first year of college life so I shared this with you. And if we are talking about my future placement so I would like to go in such a good software company at Mumbai, Hyderabad or something else.

Remarks:

When I firstly visited my college I think I've to give some entrance exam or something to getting admission in it. But there's is nothing like that. My friend palak has also admitted in it . In my college there is student communities like political parties which I hate.

Honest review for holkar science College.

What I Liked

I like the faculties because faculties of my department are quite nice and understanding
I like infrastructure of my department's building.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the campus life here. They don't even have.
And also I don't like infrastructure of some buildings of college.

Placement Experience:

They have good placement & Job opportunities . Thet haven't discussed it yet but I have seen seniors so i know. But you got good placement and job only if you have good cgpa in your exams otherwise not.

Remarks:

The most important factor is I got government college which have a good history and also have placements. And i have not given any interview or written test for admission but the percentage matters for this college . You should have good percentage in 12th

What I Liked

The faculties are very supportive and friendly.

The quality of canteen food is not good and not healthy.
The playground and auditorium is very small.

The Holkar college were placed many certified companies like Wipro Infosys TCS and many more like this. Above 70 percent students got internship in certified companies like Wipro Infosys TCS and many more like this.

Remarks:

They were organised a councelling level 4 round will be attempted any students those students have name in counselling then addmission in Holkar college. Above 70 percent in 12th percentage of your Higher Secondary schooling.

What I Liked

I like the campus garden is so good you can go with your friends to study and to hang out there is gym also
You can also go to the canteen the food of the canteen is expensive but it is good

What I didn’t like

The process of submitting form is very slow
And the lab teacher are not telling how to do

Placement are provided in our college sone of the companies are coming and the faculty of our college are given the intership you can do intership also many institute came to the college and seminars is also conducted fir student

I have seen the reviews of this college online the review is good and research about the college so I get know there is placement also and it is autonomous government college I have fill the form online with 10 rupees because I have medhavi scholarship

Review of college experience : Strength and area of improvement

What I Liked

The overall college infrastructure was very good with old labs vibes and at this time like in 2024 colleges changes it complete infrastructure.
Faculty in very supportive and you can easily reach them after the class end in their cabin about your doubt solving problem

What I didn’t like

The college is lacked with the modern infrastructure and some other facilities.
Additionally faculty availability for personalized guidance was limited

Placement Experience:

The college offers on-campus placements with local and IT sectors companies in and outside Indore. Placements depends on the student skill's. Plans post-degree including exploring IT roles and growth.

Remarks:

I choose Holkar science college because of its reputation for academic excellence i science program. Since after complete my 12th in 2019 there is no interview round or entrance exam involved just i'm more focused on my percentage to get admission on this college

Placement Experience:

After getting A+ grade by NAAC , THERE are many opportunities of job . Many companies came last year where students got package of 2 lakh and more , after getting the college degree we can apply in good company for job where we gets job

We get admission in the basis of percentage of secondary education , cutoff is important in college admission so if we have good marks then we will easily get admission in these college, college faculty is good to teach us
