Superb college

What I Liked

Yes i like college infrastructure, mess, food,campus is so pretty i enjoy every moment in my college life.
College life so beautiful u can enjoy in college you can enjoy extar curriculum activities.

What I didn’t like

Faculty is so good everydepartment have one subject 5 faculty minimum.
Infrastructure so beautiful in college campus indoor outdoor games and other facilities.

Placement Experience:

strong placement record, with top companies recruiting students from various disciplines. The institute.has a dedicated placement cell that provides training and placement opportunities to students. So enjoy.

Internships Opportunities:

Some of the top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and HCL. The average salary package offered to students is around 4-5 lakhs per annum, with the highest package going up to 12 lakh.

College life Experience

What I Liked

Infrastructe is premium look and situated in between the lap of hills
Sports and gym gacilities is also have classy experience

What I didn’t like

There is too much workload ,assignments ,seminar.
There is very few holiday ,which is not so good.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement cell in college,but i have planned for NORCET EXAM and NCLEX for job in foreign country and in the meantime i will join any private hospital which pay me good money and along with it i will prepare for NORCET

Internships Opportunities:

For internship ,they give posting in NEIGRIHMS hospital for 8 hrs and stipend of 13k per month.and in internship skill development is focoused,the main duty is patient care ,timely medication and empathetic ear

The college of nice interaction and good teaching services and nice weather

What I Liked

The environment of the college is very nice and peaceful and weather of the college is very nice.
The faculty of this institution is very talented and proper education facilities are there in our college.

What I didn’t like

The food quality of the mess is very bad and i didn't like the food quality of the mess.
The pressure of the teaching and course is so high in the examination.

Placement Experience:

The placement through the internship is after the final year passing the exam. The package depends only after the entrance exam you passed after internship. 80 percent of students getting a seat after qualifying the ENTRANCE exam of NEET PG . My plans are going through a good rank in NEET PG.

Internships Opportunities:

There is no such rule for companies it totally depends upon the entrance examination you apply after doing internship and getting a good rant and a seat in better college and then you got a little bit good amount of money.

A complete review of NEIGRIHMS, Shillong

What I Liked

There is good student teacher ratio which helps in good teacher Student interaction.
The facilities are all highly qualified and they are very helpful and can be approached regarding any doubts.
The college is surrounded by greenery and it's free from pollution of city.
Being a central institute there are no service bonds so we can practice at any place after completion of degree.

What I didn’t like

The college is located a little away from the main city which posses a problem.
There is lack of space available for a open ground which makes it difficult for us to play any outdoor sports like cricket.

Placement Experience:

After 4 years of course and passing the final University examination there is 1 year compulsory rotatory internship. There is no such placement from college. After completing the internship the MBBS degree is awarded with which you can either work in the government setup or in private setup. Also you can practice individually. There is also scope for performing post-graduation for which we have to qualify in neet pg exam after which one can choose the speciality in which he or she wishes to choose.

Internships Opportunities:

There is one year compulsory rotatory internship. After passing the final professional exam everyone must complete this compulsory rotatory internship for a duration of 1 year. The internship is done within the college itself. After completing this 1 year compulsory rotatory internship only one can get the MBBS degree and work as a registered medical practitioner.

Review of Neigrihms medical College

What I Liked

The infrastructure is top notch and faculty is also interactive and very knowledgeable.
The campus life is awesome. As a boy I can go from hostel to anywhere and anytime I want.

What I didn’t like

Though campus is good but it is situated 10km away from Shillong in a bare area with only 4-5 shops
Some of the faculties are very strict about attendance. The exams are also very hectic

Placement Experience:

After completing Mbbs here students can opt for a JRship in any other medical College in India or prepare for the PG entrance exam. The PGs & SRs here get placement offers of a minimum of RS.200000 if they go to government hospitals.

Internships Opportunities:

Usually after the completion of our 4.5-year course, we have to do a 1-year internship in our college. The stipend would be around Rs.30,000. After that one can go for a JRship in any government/private hospital or prepare for the PG entrance exam.

NEIGRHIMS Review

What I Liked

1. The college is a central government medical College 2. The quality of education they are providing is necessary for generating good medical professionals for treatment of patients. 3.they organize regular surprise test for checking our progress
1. The infrastructure is superb. Having new medical College. 2. The hostel building are very good with proper sunlight and sanitation. 3. It has its own cancer centre and state of art operation theatre. 4. It also has one of the India's best virtual autopsy room.

What I didn’t like

1. At first life here is bit costly because everything is so pricey which could not be affordable for many students
1. The college is located far away from the main market like 10 to 12 km and it is very difficult to go to market as taxi charges are bit costly.

Placement Experience:

1.after completing MBBS one can apply for junior resident post. 2. The package will be 1 lakh per month. 3. During internship intern will get 30k per month 4.i will be giving NEET PG entrance exam after getting my bachelor degree.

Internships Opportunities:

No, i didn't opt. But one can opt by consulting our professor and they are very eager to help us. They organise a lot of seminars in association with AIIMS, so one can participate in this to get exposure.

What I Liked

Very good environment and weather is there
Teachers are very supportive and Good and teaching style is amazing

What I didn’t like

Less number of patients are there and less number of beds
Launguage problem is there and very difficult to communicate

Placement Experience:

Internship price is very good here and you can buy your own things at that amount of money that you are getting here, the very feasible and good amount you are getting here and everyone is happy about that

Internships Opportunities:

You have completed your course then you will get a chance of doing an internship here the fees are very good and you can come and join here you also get a good amount of money here and have a nice experience and all the good

All about NEIGRIHMS

What I Liked

My college campus is one of the best medical campus of India.
Internship stipend is much more than what we expect as a simple MBBS doctor.

What I didn’t like

Mess food quality is very poor. Hygiene is not maintained.
There is very less vacation available for students throughout the year.

Placement Experience:

In every medical course there is 1yr mandatory internship has to be done. In our college also it's there. Monthly 30000 salary is being given for 1 year which is much more than what we are paying for entire 4years of study.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is mandatory in MBBS course. In our college 1yr of internship is mandatory for which we are being given 30000 per month. We've to take care of hospital in patient and also outpatient with emergency duties with sleepless nights.
