MBBS is a 5.5 years course. It includes 4.5yrs of classroom study alongwith with clinical posting and 1 year of rotatory internship in the hospital. There are mainly internal assessment throughout the year and a final professional examination at the end of each phase.

The faculties are very helpfull the teachers are highly qualified with B pharm , M pharm and also Phd holders the course will provide u license after 2 years and there will be 3 month of internship also d then u will be elligible to open a pharmacy there will be 3 session exam s and best off 2 are choosed and there will be one annual final university exam

The duration of MBBS is 5.5 years(4.5 years academics and 1 year internship). If I have to be true to myself, MBBS is damn tough. Well, I can't remember how many exams I took and how many I'll be taking but it is a massive number of exams. We are taught by well-qualified doctors so you are learning from the best. The one-time admission fee is around 15000 and yearly we have to pay around 12000. Coming to scholarships, you can refer to the various state and central government schemes. The entire MBBS journey is so hectic that you are going to be frustrated at times but it is all worth it. The hardships you undergo now will make the journey beautiful. So go get it and if you are planning to come to AMC you are most welcome.

MBBS as I mentioned, chose this because I always had a dream of helping the needy people . Academics are great over here. Whatever is necessary to keep you going will be provided. Faculties are all talented and as you progress through the years in your student's life it will only increase your respect for them. Teaching method differs from faculty to faculty, you'll find a few teachers boring while some others will tickle your curiosity and excitement with their extensive clinically correlating minds and way of explaining topics. Exams are always timely, lots of syllabus to cover. Exams get tougher towards the final year. The fee is not much in the government medical colleges here in Assam. We are required to deposit 31k during admission and no more after that. It's only the mess dues that you have to pay monthly afterward, around 3000rs per month

MBBS degree is one of the most demanding degrees. From the smallest the illness to the dreadest ones , the physicians are able to handle their patients with their best efforts. It can get tough at times for the students but eventually it is for the humanity. The university conducts 3 internal exams every year and a final professional exam at the end of the academic year. Being a yearly exam summing up the whole course of the year, the difficulty level is very very high. It s a government college so we are required to do a one time payment of Rs 27000 at the beginning of the course. Yearly an amount of Rs4000 is required for the final exam. The college doesn't provide any scholarship but the students can avail one under the Indian Government.

I got inspiration to become a doctor from my uncle who is a popular doctor in his area. The immeasurable blessings he receives from needy people and the priceless smiles of the patients have encouraged me to go for this career. All the faculties are well educated and experienced. They teach us through smart TV using PPT including monoacts in between their lectures to make it less boring. Weekly seminars are also held to clear our doubts.4final exams(MB) are held yearly for 4yrs along with internal exams.1st and 4th years are the most difficult 2nd and 3rd years are pretty easy. As it is a government college the annual fee is not much. Normally the fee is 30000 but due to COVID, we had to pay an amount of only 10000 at the time of admission. Yearly an amount of 4000 is to be given to apper final exams and mess dues of around 3000 monthly.

I chose to be a part of this field from a long-lasting dream of being a doctor. The faculties in my college are highly qualified doctors and professors of different ranks.We follow the CBME curriculum given by the National Medical Council. The curriculum focuses on interactive learning and practical hands on learning. This is ensured by organizing seminars, small group discussions, and clerkships where we can interact with patients and see their condition by ourselves. The theory classes resemble other formal methods of teaching although we share a friendly bond with our teachers because of which it becomes easier to clear our doubts. Final exams are held once a year and they are quite tough owing to the enormous syllabus of the course. The exams include both theory and practical exams of each subject.3 internal assessments are organized. Apart from the hostel security fee and the fee during the exam (RS.3800 approx.), no other such fees are taken by the college, and government scholarships are available.

To be able to improve the health of the ill and be able to give free treatment in the rural areas. All the faculties are highly educated and experienced. They do their best to make every lecture interesting and less boring by making PPTs with videos in them. Exams are conducted timely and we have to appear for 4MB(final exam) for 4 years of MBBS which also includes assessment exams. Exams get difficult towards the final year as lots of syllabi have to be covered. The fees are not so high in government colleges. We only had to pay 30k at the time of admission around 4k for appearing in MB exams yearly and 2k to buy clinical log books yearly. Also, mess dues of 3k have to be paid monthly to the hostel.

To provide accessable health services to the needy one was my dream since childhood. To turn my dream into reality MBBS is the best route possible. Moreover, MBBS always provides a stable financial career. The faculty here are highly qualified. Most of the professors are famous and highly respected doctors of this region. Teaching methods are exceptional with their style of teaching methodology. Term and internal exams are on time. It is conducted under highly strict surveillance and the difficulty level is as per Indian medical standards prescribed by NMC Fee hike is never an issue in government run medical colleges in Assam. We only paid one time during admission . Apart from that we have to paid mess dues only which is around 2500(varies from hostel to hostel) Regarding scholarship, students here apply for various scholarships. "Ishan uday" scholarship provides tremendous financial assistance to the needy one. People also get minority scholarships, caste-based scholarships, etc.

The course I opted for is MBBS which currently follows the CBME curriculum. The academics are the best considered in the state. There are senior as well as demonstrater faculties who teach very well and themselves were pass-outs of AMCH. The term exams are held on time and consist of theory and practical. Since it is a government college the cost of study is minimal, maybe up to 10,000 in a year. I am availing the Ishan Uday Scholarship.
