Overall good

What I Liked

There is good library room which have new books
There is a computer lab where there are ample number of computer with high speed data

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure of the campus it's not painted well
Hygiene and cleanliness as the toilet are smelly

Placement Experience:

There are very few placement opportunities by the college so never looks for as such placement but they perform as accounts manager financial executive tax consultant in various companies as employee.

Internships Opportunities:

No I haven't obted for any internship but will obtained as it is compulsory by our college to obtain it in semester 4 or semester 2 during the course in any company we want or list of companies is given by the college.

Infrastructure was pretty good and well maintained
Faculty is very friendly and helpful.

The college bathroom is unhygienic. That's I personally dislike
Sometimes faculty angry to us, that's also I personally dislike

Ucc a wonderful journey with boys

What I Liked

I personally like the professors and their behaviour
And 2 thing is the common rooms neet and clean canteen as well as the price

What I didn’t like

The desks are very old they have to change
The washrooms are clean but only 2 washrooms are available

Placement Experience:

Now a days collages has decided to do internship program which they term as summer internship through which students get placement before final year and that is great they don't have to roam for the placement just register in this program and do Asap you will get the job

Internships Opportunities:

TCS,wipro,and many more companies came and hier students but maximum students are hired directly through the summer internship program which is also because of collage and that is more greatful that you can choose your dream company for the work

Placement Experience:

major hiring is done by TCS and certain other Calcutta based recruiters, they select students based on their academic performance and skills, average package offered is around 1.8 LPA many of the the students pursuing B.Com usually do certain other professional courses so they don't go for campus placement but those who apply for campus placement majority of them are selected

Umeschandra college a review by a first year bcom student

What I Liked

There is not much to like about the college infrastructure but the common room is okay
And also the gym is pretty convenient if I've missed a few workouts on my normal gym

What I didn’t like

The building and it's lack of space and there is no greenery
It doesn't have any diversity and the college starts at 6 which is too early

Placement Experience:

The college hosts regular placement drives and even provides internships for the students of third semester and beyond and it is even compulsory for the students to do atleast one internship at every course

Internships Opportunities:

I have not applied for an internship through my college yet but I have applied one through a third party company which would teach me about digital marketing and also provide me with an internship later on

A Honest College Review Of Umes Chandra College

What I Liked

I like about the college is the game room, there are games to relax like ludo, carrom, poker, Uno, chess, table tennis, and cricket
I like that this college has no attendance issue if you don't want to come you can stay in your home and study

What I didn’t like

I didn't like the campus there are gutka stains everywhere in hall, stairs, washroom and even in classroom
The food in the college canteen it is unhygienic and very less variety available .

Placement Experience:

In our college there is not placement and job opportunities. Students should think of their own what they had to do after studies. I am doing CS and I am thinking of doing CA. After getting my degree my main focus in on further studies.

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted for any internship and our college didn't give any internship though. But yes they suggest us many job and companies for part time job and after completing the graduation they tell us we can get their for good income .

My sweet college review

What I didn’t like

The thing which has much just like about the college is the cleaning not very good and the canteen is the worst there they literally offer the worst food which is almost the fast food every time and the tea which is literally liquid there is no tea leaves and milk in there it is the worst so don't try it
The classroom fans are very dirty the cleaning staff clean them every 6 to 7 months which is a very long period so the fans will be very dirty and after the summer or winter vacation the benches will be very dirty so you have to clean them on your own they won't clean it for you that's the worst thing

Placement Experience:

There are almost no opportunities there are three companies that rarely come to college for placement in the job opportunities the package is pretty average of 4 to 5 lakh and the student scenes are very much random so your marks do a matter as much if you maintain an average CGPA of 7.5 to 9 then you can appear for the placements.

Internships Opportunities:

There are no internship opportunities available in this college right now the companies come but for the job, they don't offer the internship for the current period in this college there will be changes in future maybe.

Internship opportunities at Umes Chandra College

What I Liked

I like how the professors are knowledgeable and engaging and their ability to explain complex concepts
A very well designed course curriculum for students with provided practical learning

What I didn’t like

Limited resources and facilities are insufficient or outdated
Heavy assignment can be challenging sometimes as time management can become difficult

Placement Experience:

There are a few internships provided by the campus and after completion of the course, there are not so many employment opportunities. As students, we should keep upgrading our skills and knowledge by learning extra courses in our respective fields which will help us find a job after graduation.

Internships Opportunities:

There are some internship programs available for students such as Academic internships when they provide theoretical knowledge, research internships, nonprofit community internships, and industry-specific internships.
