- The desks are very old they have to change
- The washrooms are clean but only 2 washrooms are available
Remarks :
I choose this collage because of various reasons such as goodwill faculties unions extra caricular activities and the main reason is only boys collage so that as a student there is no problem regarding to girls.
Course Curriculum Overview :
B.com is very easy to study it's just like 11th and 12th standard so that everyone can achieve good marks as well as they can do CA CMA without any burden of studies and also the subjects except accounts are easy to understand
Internships Opportunities :
TCS,wipro,and many more companies came and hier students but maximum students are hired directly through the summer internship program which is also because of collage and that is more greatful that you can choose your dream company for the work
Placement Experience :
Now a days collages has decided to do internship program which they term as summer internship through which students get placement before final year and that is great they don't have to roam for the placement just register in this program and do Asap you will get the job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
5170 per semister fees and even students will get a scholarship from collage if they score more than 60% in accademy as well as collage will provide more govt scholarship programs to the students.even they will add more
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is not good as we see in Netflix or other social media platforms but yes I have to say in terms of fees they are providing us great infrastructure canteen common room with games and a small ground for outdoor games.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
