The candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Class XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent board with the following subjects:

English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical / Vocational subjects.

Minimum 45% marks (General Category) Minimum 40% marks (Backward Class / Persons with Disability from Maharashtra State) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects combined.
