Yes, we had interviews and written tests. Factors like the college atmosphere, the location, the faculties, placement t, internship programs, culture and many other factors made me choose this college.

I wanted to study datascience as it is known to pay high. When I came for admissions I was subjected to 3 rounds of evaluation. Round one- Problem solving ( you were given a scenario and asked to write the optimal solution) Round 2-- Math, English, problem solving ( find the patterns, series, etc).Round 3- interview with faculty (just general stuff and you were asked about why you chose this dept ). I think you need to have a minimum of 75% in Math and CS.

The factors that made me opt for this college were its well-trained staff and very friendly environment. The faculty are very friendly and easy to approach. They make the learning experience vibrant. College also has a variety of clubs around 14 to be exact. A student can choose any club as per his interests. There are also extracurriculars that are compulsory for example a national or international trip is arranged during your course to renowned universities such as IIM, IIT, and other universities in UAE, UK, etc. These come under the Edge+ program. Kumaraguru is well well-reputed college in Coimbatore. My college is a liberal college that's why I chose to study here. To get selected in this college you need to secure good marks in class 12. The college will conduct an interview session to select the students to know their communication skills.

I choose this college on my personal choice. As this is the only college that as a political science program. I really wanted to pursue political science so I chose this college. Admission process was really great we had a entrance test also we had individual interviews were it went so great.
