The faculty a quite good and a teaching methods are quite modern in certain cases the exams and fortunately ability but this is not fault of the college but the fault of Calcutta University the exams are conducted at the average level which any student starting for minimum 10 to 12 hours weekly can pass easily

I developed a fondness for economics from my school level only , and this decided to pursue a major in the subject. Our college has one of the best professors who have a lot of experience in the field, with PHD's. Tests are conducted on a regular basis by Calcutta University, to which our college is affiliated to and difficulty level is moderate. Students can apply for the Vivekananda scholarship.
