NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2026 Answer Key in the third week of April 2026 on the official website. The CUET PG exam will be from March 2026 to April 2026 in three shifts per day: Shift 1 from 9 AM to 10.30 AM, Shift 2 from 12.30 PM to 2 PM and Shift 3 from 4 PM to 5.30 PM.

The CUET PG 2026 Provisional Answer Key released first along with the response sheet, so that the candidates can challenge the answer key in case there is any discrepancy in the score calculation. Once the challenging period is over, the Final Answer Key will be released with the updated score.

According to previous year trends, the most scoring subjects in CUET PG 2026 exam can be: Mathematics (291 marks), Physics (287 marks), Chemistry (285 marks), Political Science (270 marks) and English (225 marks).

CUET PG 2026 Answer Key

The CUET PG 2026 Answer Key contains all the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam, this helps the candidates to cross check their answers and get an idea of their scores before the official results are released.

The CUET PG 2026 Answer Key will be released in two phases:

  • Provisional Answer Key: The candidates can challenge the discrepancies they identified within a specific time duration.

The final answer key will incorporate all the valid scoring objections by the candidates before it is released on the official website. The candidates can access the answer key by logging in using their application number and password.

CUET PG 2026 Challenging Answer Key

Candidates who identify any errors in the CUET PG 2026 Provisional Answer should object to it in the given period. All the received challenges are verified by the panel of experts, if the challenge made by the candidate is proven correct, the answer key will be revised along with the result.

The candidate has to pay a non refundable fee of INR 200 for each question they are challenging.

CUET PG 2026 Response Sheet

NTA will release the response sheet along with the CUET PG 2026 provisional answer key on the official website. Candidates can download by logging in using their credentials. The response sheet is the OMR sheet of the appearing candidate with all the answers marked by them. Once the CUET PG 2026 Final Answer Key is released, the CUET PG 2026 result along with the scorecard will be announced. The candidates will be able to access the results by logging in using their credentials. No challenges regarding the answer key will be entertained once the CUET PG 2026 results are declared. Candidates are offered seats in the participating institutes in accordance with their scores and the institute’s cutoff list.

Is CUET PG very tough?

CUET PG is considered to have a moderate to difficult level. Although, the difficulty level also varies depending on the subject and the candidate’s preparation.

CUET PG 2026 Score vs Percentile

The CUET PG 2026 scores achieved by the candidate is directly related to the percentile required to secure an admission in the institutes and courses of the candidate’s choice.

High Scores (270 - 300): Candidates achieving this score obtain a 99 - 100 percentile. This is an excellent score, candidates can aim for the top institutes such as SRCC and Miranda House.

Average Scores (180 - 269): Candidates scoring in this range obtain a 85 - 98 percentile. The candidates can aim for institutes such as Motilal Nehru and DCAC.

Low Scores (Below 180): Candidates who score below 180 obtain a percentile of 75 - 84. These candidates can aim for various state universities or private colleges.

No, 125 marks is considered a low score in the CUET PG 2026 exam. Although depending upon the choice of courses, you can still apply to private universities such as Shoolini University or Apex University.

Is 50 a good score in CUET PG 2026?

No, 50 is not a good score for CUET PG 2026 as the exam is a total of 300 marks and 50 marks is only 15% of the total marks. Candidates can try again next year with better preparation.

CUET PG 2026 Expected Cutoff

The CUET PG 2026 cutoff depends on various factors such as difficulty level of the exams, number of candidates appearing for the exam and this year’s performance levels.

  • Candidates from the General/EWS category face higher cutoffs General (270+ marks), OBC candidates have a bit lower lower cutoff range (240+ marks), SC/ST candidates face a comparatively lower cutoffs (200+ marks)
  • Subjects such as Microbiology and Botany have higher cutoff marks as a result of high demand and lower seat availability, meanwhile subjects like Zoology and Biotechnology have lower cutoffs due to less demand among the appearing candidates.
  • Top Universities such as Delhi University and JNU have high cutoffs as they have less seat availability and very high demand among the candidates.
