What's New In OJEE Counsellling 2024?
OJEE 2024 has released the schedule for the 3rd stray vacancy counseling for BHMS/BAMS courses. Candidates must report to the OJEE Cell in Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar, on December 17-18, 2024, for document verification, fee submission, and provisional admission. Reporting to the allotted colleges is scheduled for December 18, 2024. Admission fees are ₹8,500 for Government/Private Ayurvedic and Homeopathy colleges, with additional institution-specific charges. Required documents include original certificates, a Nativity Certificate, and a College Leaving Certificate.
For UG courses like BTECH/BARCH/BPLAN/BCAT/Int M.Sc, OJEE 2024 round 3 seat allotment result has been released on August 16, 2024. Complete the online reporting like fee payment and document upload by August 20, 2024. You can withdraw the seat or exit the seat allotment from August 16 to August 27, 2024. Counselling registration for the third round is open from August 2 to August 9, 2024 for Second/Special OJEE or JEE Main rank holders. The final allotment list will be released on August 28.
The authorities have released OJEE round 3 seat allotment result for MTECH/MARCH/ MPLAN/ MBA/MCA/MSc. Comp Sc. courses on August 16, 2024. The online reporting is open from August 16 to August 22, 2024. Report to the allotted institute from August 26 onwards. Final round counselling for Second/Special OJEE rank holders was open from August 6 to August 13, 2024.

How OJEE Counselling is Conducted?
OJEE counselling is conducted in 2 rounds and a special round. Authorities will conduct seaprate counselling process for JEE Main and Special OJEE 2024 for non qualified candidates in JEE Main To participate in the counselling process, you need to first register and pay OJEE counselling fees of INR 450. Post this, choice filling/locking is done and seats are allotted based on your OJEE rank, preference and category. Selected candidates will have to pay OJEE seat acceptance fees of INR 10,000 for General Candidates and INR 5,000 for SC/ST/PwD candiidates.

OJEE Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates participating in OJEE 2024 counselling are required to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- You must have completed 17 years of age.
- Your parents should be native of the state of Odisha. Moreover, should have the resident/nativity certificate needed during the document verification.
- If you belong to the general category, you should have a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology while a minimum 40%aggregate is required for SC/ST candidates.
- You should pass all the subjects in the qualifying examination.
- If you are participating in BAMS/BHMS counselling, you must have qualified NEET UG 2024.
OJEE 2024 Counselling Process
Detailed step wise guide is provided below to participate in OJEE counselling 2024:
Step 1: Online Registration
If you want to appear for OJEE 2024, you must first register at the official website and pay OJEE counselling fees of INR 450. Mentioned below are some of the details you will be asked during the registration process:
- Personal Details: Name, parents name, gender, category, state and city of residence, etc.
- Qualification details
- Scanned image and signature as per the guidelines
Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking
You will be required to fill the course and college of your preference. You are advised to choose as many colleges as you want as it will increase your chances of getting admission. Once you’ve made a final decision, you can then proceed to lock your preference in the specified time window.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
Based on the choices filled, rank in OJEE merit list, and category you will be allotted a seat.
- You can use the freeze/float option depending on whether you want to accept the allotted seat or not.
- In case no seat has been allotted, you can participate in subsequent rounds.
- You will be able to download the official OJEE seat allotment pdf from the website.
- Once a seat is accepted, based on your category you will have to pay the seat acceptance fee which is as follows:

Step 4: Document Verification and Reporting
Once you have accepted a seat, you will be required to report to the concerned college for document verification and other admission formalities on the asked date.

The following is a list of documents required during OJEE counselling document verification:
- You must carry a demand draft of INR 5000 in favour of “OJEE 2024” on any scheduled bank payable at Bhubaneshwar in case of spot counselling. Those who have paid the fees and are allotted seats do not have to carry the drafts.
- If you have not registered yourself but want to be a part of the counselling process, then you have to carry an additional draft of INR 1000.
- Class 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate

Ques.Will I be able to change my preference after I’ve locked it during OJEE counselling?
Ans. No, locking of choices is a one time facility only. Once you’ve locked your preferences no changes will be entertained. It is therefore advised to make the decision after thorough consideration.
Ques. What will happen if I forget to lock my choices during OJEE counselling 2024?
Ans. In case you forgot to lock your choices during OJEE counselling, the last saved choices will be considered for seat allocation.
Ques. Will my fees be refunded if I do not take admission after seat allocation?
Ans. No, once you’ve take part in the counselling and did not withdraw on the last withdrawal date, your fees will not be refunded irrespective of whether you take admission or not.

Ques. What is the difference between OJEE and Special OJEE?
