SRMJEEE Slot Booking and Hall Ticket
In the 2026 process, students first booked an available date and session in the admission portal. The hall ticket could then be downloaded from the account. Completing the application form alone did not complete slot booking.
| 2026 Phase 1 step | Schedule |
| Slot booking | 18 April, 1 PM to 20 April, 11 PM |
| Mock exam | 21 April, 11 AM to 23 April, 8 PM |
| Main exam | 24-29 April |
| Daily sessions | 10 AM-12:30 PM; 2 PM-4:30 PM |
A slot was subject to availability on the chosen date. The exam date and time on the generated hall ticket determined the student’s session. A general phase schedule contained several dates and could not substitute for that individual booking.
How to Download the SRMJEEE Admit Card
- Sign in to the SRM admission portal with the registered account.
- Open slot booking for the phase you applied for.
- Choose an available date and session and confirm the booking.
- Open the hall ticket generated after booking.
- Check your identity and booked schedule, then save the hall ticket for exam login.
The 2026 main-exam instructions used the login details and password given in the admit card. Keep the saved copy accessible before opening the examination application. The admission-account login and the exam application serve different steps.
If you forget the admission-account password, use its recovery option or available OTP login. Recover access through the registered email or mobile number; creating another application is not the same as recovering the existing one.
Details to Check on the Hall Ticket
| Detail | Check |
| Candidate identity | Name and photograph belong to you |
| Application details | Match the submitted application |
| Date and session | Match the booked slot |
| Exam login details | Save the supplied exam credentials securely |
| Instructions | Read the reporting/login and exam-software directions |
Report an incorrect identity detail or a mismatch in the booked schedule to SRM admissions. Include the application number and a clear description of the issue. Do not edit the downloaded hall ticket yourself.
The 2026 SRMJEEE test used remote proctoring and online identity checks. Students joined their booked session from the permitted desktop or laptop setup.
Photo ID and Exam Login
The Phase 1 instructions asked students to log in at least 60 minutes before the exam. The setup included a photograph of the candidate, a photograph of a clear photo ID and time to read the instructions.
The webcam activated before the test. A camera that did not work prevented the examination from starting. Check camera permissions and image clarity in the mock, including whether text on the ID remains readable when held to the camera.
The hall ticket provides exam access details; the photo-ID capture supports identity verification. Keep both ready before the session. Never share the exam password with another person.
Computer, Camera and Connection
Use a desktop or laptop with a functioning webcam and microphone. The exam could not be taken on a mobile phone or tablet. Install the examination software through SRM’s exam instructions and test it on the intended computer.
The 2026 Phase 1 manual listed an Intel i 3 fourth-generation equivalent processor, at least 4 GB RAM, 2 GB free disk space, and Windows 8 or macOS 10.14 Mojave or later. Its detailed room rules prohibited headphones.
Use the official mock to test the connection through the exam application, not only through a speed-test site. Keep a stable connection throughout the session. The instructions did not promise a re-exam for a power cut, poor internet or a faulty personal computer.
Remove screen-sharing software as directed. A company-managed device can restrict software installation or camera access, so resolve those permissions before the mock rather than during exam login.
Room Rules and Question Controls
- Sit alone in a quiet, well-lit room with your face visible.
- Keep the desk clear of notes, books, phones and other electronic material.
- Do not use headphones, another website or help from anyone else.
- Do not read questions aloud or leave your seat during the test.
- Follow messages from the remote proctor and the instructed exit process.
The 2026 paper pattern provided 150 minutes. Students could not return to an answered or skipped question, and the submit control became available after 120 minutes. These controls should be practised during the official mock.
A warning from the proctor needs attention during the test. The detailed instructions allowed the proctor to pause or terminate an exam for repeated suspected malpractice.
If the Hall Ticket or Exam Login Does Not Work
| Issue | Next step |
| Hall ticket absent | Check the correct phase and whether slot booking was completed |
| Account access lost | Use password recovery or available OTP login |
| Wrong name or session | Raise the issue with admissions using the application number |
| Camera or exam-software error | Use the mock and technical-help route linked in the exam instructions |
| Payment status unresolved | Use the portal’s technical-query category |
The listed admissions contact is 080 6908 7000 or admissions.india@srmist.edu.in. Describe the error, phase and application number. A screenshot of the error can help, but keep account passwords out of messages.
After the examination, follow the rank-card and counselling process for admission. Keep the application and hall-ticket details with the other admission records.
