Who can register for AACCC PG counselling?

Round 1 registration is open to candidates who qualified AIAPGET 2026 and meet the applicable programme and institution eligibility rules. AACCC will allot the covered MD and MS seats on the basis of AIAPGET merit, category rules and the choices locked by candidates.

The central process covers All India Quota seats in government and government-aided AYUSH colleges, seats in participating central universities and national institutes, all covered seats in deemed universities, and the eligible institutional seats of Banaras Hindu University. Private AYUSH PG seats outside this central scope are handled through the respective state or union-territory authority.

Security money is refundable only under the bulletin's refund rules and is returned to the same bank account or card used for payment.

How to complete Round 1 registration and choice filling

  1. Open the official AACCC website and select the PG counselling section.
  2. Complete new registration with the AIAPGET 2026 details and other required information.
  3. Select the counselling type and pay the registration fee plus security money.
  4. Fill course and institute choices between October 27 and November 1.
  5. Review the order carefully and lock the choices during the scheduled locking window.
  6. Download the Round 1 allotment letter if a seat is allotted on November 3.
  7. Report physically to the allotted institute with the required original documents.

If a candidate does not manually lock the submitted choices before the window closes, the portal will automatically lock the last saved choices according to server time. Locked choices cannot be modified, so candidates should verify institute fees, programme, quota and preference order before the deadline.

Documents required for institute reporting

The information bulletin asks candidates to carry original documents with attested photocopies, preferably two sets. The core list includes:

  • AACCC provisional allotment letter;
  • AIAPGET 2026 admit card and scorecard;
  • Class 10 and higher-secondary certificates and mark sheets;
  • professional examination mark sheets for BAMS, BUMS, BHMS or BSMS, as applicable;
  • degree or valid provisional degree certificate;
  • compulsory rotatory internship completion certificate;
  • permanent professional registration certificate; and
  • applicable category, EWS or PwBD certificate in the prescribed format.

Candidates should also check the allotted institute's requirements before reporting. AIQ seats are domicile-free, but a college may require other applicable certificates for verification.

Round 1 options after allotment

A candidate can join the allotted institute and retain the seat, or join and submit willingness for an upgrade in Round 2. A candidate who does not join the Round 1 seat can use the free-exit provision and participate in later rounds under the eligibility rules by filling fresh choices.

Candidates must follow the online counselling workflow for joining, relieving, withdrawal and cancellation. Later rounds carry stricter forfeiture and ineligibility rules, so anyone planning an upgrade or exit should read the official counselling scheme before acting.
