National Law University Delhi (NLUD) has released the first AILET 2025 provisional merit list for the Joint Masters/ LL.M. in IP Law and Management (Non-Residential) for the academic year 2025-26.
The merit list is available on NLUD's official website. Candidates who participated in the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 on December 8, 2024, can now view their results. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NLUD website nludelhi.ac.in for further updates and instructions regarding the admission process.
Selection Pattern
The written AILET entrance exam accounts for 70% of the selection process, followed by the group discussion for 15% and the interview for 15%. Thus, admission to National Law University Delhi is completely merit-based.

Important Details Regarding AIELT 2025 Merit List
- Provisional Seat Confirmation Fees: Candidates who have been provisionally selected must pay a ₹50,000 provisional admission confirmation fee by January 4, 2025, in order to confirm their admission. The admission offer will be withdrawn if this deadline is missed, and the seat will be given to the next applicant on the merit list.
- Counseling Fees: Candidates who have not yet paid the counseling fees or were not selected for the normal LL.M. program must pay a counseling fee of ₹80,000 (₹70,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates) together with the provisional confirmation fee.
Note: Both payments will be applied to the entire tuition fee, with the rest of the payment due on April 30, 2025.
Additional Details
- Hostel Accommodation: NLU Delhi will not offer hostel accommodations to students enrolled into the Joint Master's/LL.M. program due to limited availability.
- Fee Structure: (i) Indian Nationals: ₹415,595, (ii) Officials of CGPDTM: ₹207,748
Program Switching
- Candidates who are provisionally enrolled to either the LL.M. or the Joint Master's in LL.M. (IPR) Program may swap programs.
- To do so, candidates have to accept the newly offered program via their AILET 2025 dashboard.
- Once approved, this choice is final and cannot be modified or canceled.
- The amount to be paid will be modified based on the new program.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates who have been provisionally selected should download their Provisional Admission Offer Letter from their AILET 2025 account.
- To confirm admission, candidates have to verify and upload the admission letter, along with a signed undertaking submitted by the candidate and their parents.
- Annexures B and C must also be submitted along with the AILET 2025 admission acceptance letter.
- Candidates who fail to accept the provisional admission offer letter by the deadline provided will lose their admission opportunity.
- No further appeals will be considered by the concerned authorities or university. .
- Overall, the university's decision regarding the final admissions process is mandatory.
