The AILET-2025 took place on 8th December 2024. It begins the admission cycle for B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M., Joint Masters in LL.M./M.A. Intellectual Property Law and Management, and Ph.D. for the session 2025-26. Shortly after the conclusion of the entrance test, significant updates have surfaced pertaining to counselling and merit lists vacancies.
Counselling and Merit List Updates
Counselling for LL.M. Programme:
- Online registration for AILET began on December 13, 2024.
- Registration and fee payment closed on December 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
- Only registered candidates were covered in the first and second provisional merit lists.
Merit Lists:
- The first merit list for B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) and LL.M. programmes was released on December 27, 2024.
- The second merit list was issued on January 10, 2025.
- All seats for these programs are filled except those reserved for the Foreign National category.
Vacancy and Foreign National Category
- Applications for the Foreign National category are open until April 30, 2025.
- The merit list for this category will be published after the CBSE and ICSE Class XII or equivalent board exam results.
- Third merit list shall issue only on vacancy arising owing to withdrawal applications post 15 May, 2025.

Notes for Candidates
Candidates applying under Foreign National category are requested to check for merit list announcement after board results. Admissions to Joint Master's and Ph.D. programmes would be as per notified schedules of the university.
