Meritorious Reserved Candidate (MRC) Concept

The MRC concept ensures that candidates from reserved categories (BC/SC/ST) who secure seats in open categories are marked as MRCs, maintaining the 50:50 Open to Reserved category ratio. Any vacated seats are reallocated within the same reserved category.

  1. Web Options and Allotment:

    • Carefully review the prospectus and government orders before selecting options.
    • Ensure options align with personal interest and eligibility.

  2. Reporting and Fee Payment:

    • Selected candidates must pay the university fee of ₹23,600 online and download the allotment letter.
    • All original documents must be presented during admission.

  3. Debarred Candidates:

    • Candidates who failed to report after seat allotment in 2023-24 are not eligible.
    • Those who discontinued courses from 2021-22 are also debarred.

  4. Final Phase Rules:

    • Withdrawal of seats after final counselling incurs a three-year ban and a fine of ₹3,54,000 (inclusive of GST).
