Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, will close fresh application and registration for the third online counselling round for BPT, BMLS and B.Sc. Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry (APB) admissions today, October 18, 2026. Candidates who have already registered for the admission process do not need to register again.
The university will publish the provisional merit list on October 19. Candidates will then have until 4 PM on October 21 to submit an objection, if any, by appearing personally at the BFUHS Admission Branch in Faridkot with the relevant records. The revised provisional merit list, if required after considering objections, is also scheduled for October 21.

Who needs to act before the October 18 deadline?
The deadline applies to candidates who still need to submit a fresh application for the 2026 admission process covering BPT, BMLS and B.Sc. APB courses. A candidate who completed registration in an earlier round does not need to create another registration merely because Round 3 has started.
Previously registered candidates should instead monitor the merit-list and later choice-filling notices. Candidates who were allotted or admitted in the first or second round and wanted to surrender that seat had a separate October 14 to 16 window. The October 18 fresh-registration deadline does not extend that completed surrender period.
The NRI route is also separate. The schedule required NRI applicants to submit the physical application form for the NRI quota, the eligibility certificate application and the NRI admission application to the university by October 16. Candidates should not treat the general online registration deadline as an extension of the NRI physical-submission date.
How to apply for BFUHS allied-health counselling
- Open the BFUHS admission portal at admission.bfuhsonline.ac.in and select the BPT/B.Sc. APB/BMLS, MPT section.
- Use the official “Click here to apply online for BPT/BMLS/BSc APB” link listed with the October 14 Round 3 notice.
- Select “Click here for New Registration” if applying for the first time in this admission cycle.
- Complete the application using accurate personal, academic, category and contact details, and follow the portal instructions for documents and payment.
- Save the registration number, login password, submitted form and payment confirmation for merit-list review and later counselling stages.
The one-page Round 3 schedule does not state a separate application fee or provide new document-size rules. Candidates should use the amount and upload requirements displayed on the live application portal and in the BFUHS prospectus rather than relying on an older round's details.
Why BFUHS is conducting another online round
In a September 24 public notice, BFUHS said the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions had extended the admission cut-off for allied and healthcare courses from September 30 to October 31, 2026. The university also said it had granted provisional affiliation to certain physiotherapy colleges for enhanced BPT intake for 2026-27, subject to the required approval or permission of the Punjab government.
That notice said a third online counselling round was likely after completion of the required formalities. The October 14 schedule now sets the registration and merit-list stages, but it does not yet publish the Round 3 choice-filling, seat-allotment or reporting dates. Candidates should wait for the university's next notice and the current seat distribution before judging which colleges or seats are available.
What happens after registration closes?
BFUHS will display the provisional merit list on October 19. Candidates should check their name and the recorded application details as soon as the list is released. If a correction is required, the schedule allows an objection only up to 4 PM on October 21 and requires personal appearance at the Admission Branch in Faridkot with relevant documents or records.
The revised provisional merit list, if any, is due on October 21 after objections are considered. Choice filling will not necessarily open at the same time as the first merit list: BFUHS has explicitly kept the remaining schedule pending. Candidates should therefore keep their registration credentials and application records ready, but should not rely on unofficial allotment dates.
Important distinction between merit list and seat allotment
Inclusion in the provisional or revised merit list is a counselling-stage status, not a final admission offer. A seat can be considered only after BFUHS announces the remaining schedule, opens the applicable choice process and publishes an allotment result. Reporting and tuition-fee steps follow the allotment and eligibility-verification process.
Candidates should continue checking the BPT/B.Sc. APB/BMLS section of the official BFUHS admission portal for the choice-filling window, seat distribution, allotment result and joining instructions. Missing a later stage can affect participation even when the candidate registered before October 18.
