Kirori Mal College University of Delhi is inviting applications for the DXC Progressing Minds Scholarship Program 2024. The candidates can apply online before November 30, 2024. The award of INR 50,000 is for candidates pursuing graduation in STEM courses and INR 1,25,000 for sportspersons.

DXC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

For Graduation Students in Stem Courses

  • Women and transgender students pursuing graduation any year in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related courses are eligible.
  • Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in their previous class / semester.
  • Applicant’s annual family income must not be more than INR 4,00,000.
  • Students from PAN India can apply.
  • Students with disabilities will be given preference.
  • Children of employees of DXC Technology and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

For Sportspersons

  • Applicants must be aged between 13 and 25 years.
  • Women who have represented the state / country at the state / national / international level in the last 2-3 years can apply.
  • Students from class 8 to post-graduation courses are eligible.
  • Applicant’s annual family income should not be more than INR 5,00,000.

Documents Required for DXC Scholarship 2024

For Graduation Students in Stem Courses

  • Applicant’s photograph
  • Institution admission proof (Admission Letter / Institution ID Card, etc.)
  • Previous year’s mark sheet
  • Payment receipts for educational-related expenses, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, books, mess fees, etc., along with the fee structure for the whole academic year
  • Class 12 Marksheet
  • Proof of family income such as ITR return, salary slips, letters from concerned government authority, etc.
  • Proof of identity
  • Bank Passbook
  • Document proof for transgender and physical disability (if applicable)

For Sportspersons

  • Applicant’s photograph
  • Valid ID Proof
  • Proof of family income such as ITR return, salary slips, letters from concerned government authority, etc.

DXC Scholarship Selection Process

The steps involved in the selection process are as follows:

  • The initial screening of applications will be based on the eligibility criteria.
  • Then document verification will be done.
  • Telephonic interviews of shortlisted candidates will be conducted.
  • Screening of recordings of recent performance (for Sportspersons category only).
  • Final selection of scholars will be done after confirmation from the scholarship provider

DXC Scholarship Key Points

  • The fixed scholarship amount of INR 50,000 covers education-related expenses like tuition fees, hostel fees, mess fees, traveling expenses, books, stationery, devices / data, medical insurance, etc. of undergraduate students of STEM courses.
  • The fixed scholarship amount of INR 1,25,000 covers sports-related expenses such as sports equipment, coach fees, travel, accommodation, etc of sportspersons.
