The University of Delhi uses its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) to allot seats at Ramjas College and other DU colleges. The 2026-27 CUET UG admission process has finished, and the next cycle will be based on CUET UG 2027.

Through its Modern Languages unit, Ramjas is among the few DU colleges with a dedicated department covering seven modern and classical languages. At INR 47,647, B.Sc (Hons.) Physics carries the highest programme fee because it includes laboratory and equipment charges.

UG Admission for BA, B.Com and B.Sc

Admission to every undergraduate programme depends on CUET UG performance and seat allocation through Delhi University's CSAS. Class 12 board marks are not used to prepare a merit list.

• Applicants must have completed 10+2 through a recognised board. Most courses require minimum marks between 45% and 50%, depending on the programme.
• Students must take CUET UG with the domain subjects required for their chosen programme.
• After the examination, applicants register on the DU CSAS portal, place colleges and courses in priority order, and participate in allocation rounds based on their CUET score percentile.
• Once a seat is allotted, Ramjas College checks the documents and confirms admission.

Seats at Ramjas College are highly competitive. In the first CUET UG 2025 round, General category scores for B.Com (Hons.) and BA (Hons.) Political Science were in the 880 to 890 range, placing these courses among the most competitive options at DU's North Campus. Admission to B.Sc (Hons.) uses CUET scores from PCM, meaning Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or PCB, meaning Physics, Chemistry and Biology, domain papers.

PG Admission for MA, M.Sc and M.Com

DU's centralised allocation system handles postgraduate admission using CUET PG scores. An applicant needs a relevant bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognised university and at least 50% aggregate marks. The minimum is 45% for SC/ST applicants. Ramjas also teaches the specialised Operations Research MA and Operational Research M.Sc programmes, which are not offered by every DU college.

Language Course Admissions

Anyone who has passed Class 10 may apply for the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Chinese. These evening courses run alongside regular degree classes. Seats are offered either in application order or through a short proficiency test.

Ramjas College Placements

Each year, the placement cell arranges campus recruitment for final-year students, particularly those studying BA (Hons.) Economics, B.Com (Hons.) and B.Sc. Of the students who register with the cell, 70% to 80% reportedly secure placements. Across streams, the median package is INR 6.5 LPA, while commerce and economics students receive stronger offers from consulting and finance companies.

Rather than entering campus recruitment directly, many graduates of B.Sc (Hons.) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Zoology continue to MSc or PhD study or prepare for UPSC, GATE and CSIR-NET. Economics and Commerce Hons. students record the best direct-placement results, mainly in BFSI, consulting and analytics. MA and M.Sc students usually seek research opportunities, civil services careers or postgraduate-level placement drives independently.

Ramjas College stood within India's top 30 colleges in the 2025 NIRF list. This result also places it among the higher-ranked constituent colleges of Delhi University and the country's leading arts and science institutions.

NIRF calculates the score using teaching and learning resources, research and professional practice, outreach and inclusivity, and graduate outcomes. The result places Ramjas in the national rankings alongside other leading DU institutions such as Miranda House, Hindu College and Kirori Mal College.

Ramjas College Campus and Infrastructure

Ramjas College spreads across 25 acres in the Civil Lines area of Delhi University's North Campus. It is near the central North Campus hub, other major DU colleges and Delhi University North Campus Metro station.

Arts and Commerce have dedicated buildings, while the science blocks contain fully equipped laboratories. Other resources include a central library with digital facilities and spaces for cricket, basketball, badminton and athletics. The annual cultural festival, Zeitgeist, attracts participants from across DU and is a prominent inter-college event in the university calendar.

The Modern Languages unit teaches French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Chinese, giving it one of the widest selections among DU college language centres. Campus activities also include an active National Cadet Corps unit and a strong NSS chapter that works with the nearby Civil Lines community.

Ramjas College vs Miranda House vs Hindu College

Ramjas College, Miranda House and Hindu College are often compared because all three are major North Campus institutions with several similar courses. Each follows the CUET UG and CSAS admission route, and the University of Delhi awards their degrees.

In NIRF 2025, Miranda House and Hindu College were placed above Ramjas and also had slightly higher CUET cutoffs for matching courses. Ramjas differs through its co-educational setting, broad selection of modern language programmes and the Zeitgeist festival. Students who miss the first-round cutoffs at Miranda House or Hindu College commonly receive Ramjas allotments during later CSAS rounds.
