There were no interview/written test for admission. It was purely based on merit in Class 12th, which is now based on CUET Score. Cut off is decided by the university itself. Once the admission got confirmed on the portal, fees should be paid withon the given time frame to secure the admission.
BSc. hons. Zoology is a generic course for Biology students. It cover most of the topics like Physiology, Microbiology, Animal Behaviour,etc providing a wider scope for future. Faculty was highly qualified with mostly PhD teachers and few of them with M.Phil in their respective specialisation Exams were conducted twice in a year , i.e., semester based. Mostly syllabus could be easily covered by the general readings given by the professors and exam level was also accordingly set, making it easy for an average student.
I got internships in 2 companies - Deloitte and WorkIndia as an HR intern in my second year. Both of them were unpaid as I had completed my graduation at that time. Usually the tasks of an HR intern is to call the candidates for a particular job opening take their screening test.
Offers are usually made to students from commerce background or with statistics/ mathematics as their major. Others have less chances of placement as they are usually for HR Interns, Sales Interns etc in which a science student might not be interested. There are no science specific internships in our college.

Usually the fest is held in the month of March - April. It is one of the best fest among all the colleges in north campus. Every society also conducts their respective fest and by departments as well such as department of zoology has its own fest (Zoophoresis - lasts for 2-3 days), dance society has its own fest, etc. Sports activities are also highly valued once in a semester there are inter-departmental matches to encourage talented students. There are many social groups and clubs which is exclusively run by students giving them autonomy for their work.
To apply for hostel rooms, you must be a regular student enrolled in the college and priority is given to students from outside Delhi. A certain percentage of seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/PWD. Hostel fees includes every necessity and is charged once a year - 37559 Rs. Locality near the college is not that good as it is open to everyone. Some of the affordable rooms do provide the facilities needed but it might not be as satisfying as most of it is unhygienic. But it is usually safe at night for girls as no of students can be seen on the roads till about 3-4 AM.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
