Remarks :
For being able to study this course I gave CUET ( common university entrance test ) and was allotted this college and course based on my score. However I am satisfied with the allotment. The cutoff of my course was 690
Course Curriculum Overview :
I pursue this course because I wanted to explore the field of commerce in a reputed college. My curriculum is based on new education policy but is hectic and boring as all of my electives are baseless and doesn’t do any value addition and the faculty teaching are teaching for the sake of salary.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The amount of fees I am paying for my government college is rs.15,743 per year. As college university haven’t specified the breakdown the entire fees goes to university fund. There are various scholarships and financial aid given to required students but I haven’t opted for any of them.
Campus Life :
I am living in north campus and the life here is full of fun and excitement. Every year every college in campus organises their annual festival inviting famous artists. The libraries are equipped with required books are resources. But my college classrooms don’t have ACs. There are 2 grounds in my college one of them is not so well maintained. Every college has its own societies to engage with and learn like in my college there are Ramjas Consulting Society, Enactus, Pinnacle etc.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
