From always I wanted to pursue my graduation degree from any college of Delhi University, so this was one factor and also my course is history honours which is very reputated one and I was allotted this course in first round of allotment, so I chose to pursue it. The admission process includes CUET UG examination for which I appeared in year 2023. I faced a lot of confusion regarding admission process but our college official site helped us a lot to keep up with all the updates.
I chose this course because from the very beginning I was too interested in studying History and that too when I got this college I just wanted to join the college. All the faculty are very well qualified and amazing at teaching. My professors use real life examples to teach us any concept and help us to get lesson from our past. Exams are being conducted almost on time at the end of every semester and difficulty level is moderate.
Yearly fee for my course that is , history honours BA is around 15,000 . In first year it was 14,500 rupees and now in second year its little increased. We need to pay examination fee every semester which is around 1500 rupees for my course and it varies between 1500-2000 rupees for different courses. My subject is only theoretical so there none practical fee but my friends studying in different courses need to pay practical fee as well. And also the annual fee for my course has increased this year by 500 rupees.
When we talk about social life at campus it's just fabulous. We get to interact with people coming from many different regions from all over India and even abroad. Our college conducts annual fest which is named as " MOSAIC" and it was 3 day fest organised in the month of May. Libraries provide books and readings for all the courses. Our college also have many societeis like art, dance, music, debating and social service. I'm a part of fine arts society that is " MELANGE" and also NSS unit of Ramjas College.
I have applied for the college hostel but I couldn't get into it because there are very limited seats for hostel. It's like only 2-4 seats for each course students and seats are allocated on the basis of CGPA and also according to category.
