Students also ask

Ques. Can later cutoff rounds make admission easier at St. Stephen's College?

Ans. The cutoff may fall in later rounds, but the drop is usually limited at this college. Courses such as English and History generally remain almost unchanged because seats are filled quickly. Physics or Physical Science may see a small reduction, but candidates still need a strong CUET score.

Ques. What factors influence the St. Stephen's College cutoff each year?

Ans. The cutoff is affected by several factors, not marks alone. A higher number of applicants and an easier paper can push the cutoff upward. If the paper is difficult, the cutoff may reduce. Seat availability and course demand also play an important role, so previous cutoff data should not be treated as fixed.

Students also ask

Ques. Are placements at St. Stephen's College limited to Economics students?

Ans. No, students from other courses can also get placed, although Economics students often have an advantage because many recruiters prefer analytical skills. Students from English, History, and Science can also secure placements if they build communication skills, complete internships, and maintain a strong CV. The outcome depends more on the student's profile than only the course.

Ques. How useful is an internship before St. Stephen's College placements?

Ans. Internships are important for improving placement chances because top companies often value practical experience. The college also provides internship opportunities and an internship fair. Students with good internships and relevant skills are more likely to access higher-package roles. Without internship experience, consulting and finance roles may be harder to secure.

The teachers actually take pain and teach you stuff unlike other colleges where there any only presentations that too by the students. Faculty was actually qualified and exams were also conducted according to the datesheet. Difficulty level of exams was also fine. If you studied, then you can easily score an 8 out of 10.

Placement Experience:

Most companies had their own specific demands for the courses that were eligible mainly the job/internship opportunities were for students from Econ and Math. Highest Package was around 26 LPA. I got placed through college only and now I am working in Gurugram only.

It is the best option if you're looking for an undergraduate degree in history. I was so happy and delighted to see eminent scholars and authors like Dr Mahesh Gopalan and Dr Naina Dayal in my faculty list. The exam schedule includes 2 internal assessment tests for each paper and one end semester exam.

Placement Experience:

Students are usually eligible for placements after the 5th semester. Many companies like wipro, deloitte and microsoft visit the college annually for placements. Students also receive stipends to continue their studies. But it is to be noted that most of the internship opportunities are for students who are from Economics or science background.

BSc chemistry hons is 3 3-year undergraduate program and is divided into six semesters each year with 2 semesters. My interest est in chemistry was the only reason I opted for this ,future research opportunities are very vast in the chemistry field, The teachers and professors are extremely qualified with top-of-the-line educational backgrounds and some of them have done their PhD research from foreign universities which in turn helps us to get to foreign universities for further research We have 2 big labs and sufficient space for double the strength of my class and is loaded with expensive chemicals and instruments We have regular classes with daily assignments and activities teachers are very regular and little to no classes are cancelled throughout the semester. Exams are conducted every 6 months at the end of the semester and internal exams are conducted throughout the semester with regular assignments and presentations.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my department are very low as people mostly pursue MSc and PhD then go for jobs but internship opportunities are very good department professors recommend us to Issers and other big institutions for internships. Airtel and NDTV recruited this year from college with 9-10lpa. Most student don't prefer to do jobs after just their bachelor so not a high placement ratio I will go for a master's in foreign by taking a scholarship and then PhD and do research while being a professor in a college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a literature enthusiast I chose my English hons degree and the course curriculum, as prescribed by the university, is extensive, comprehensive and detailed, it provides various opportunities for the students to go further in their interests in their respective subjects and career choices. There is an abundance of reading and course material available at the college and e-library, which enhances one's understanding of the texts. The faculty at the college is highly qualified and makes some of the most boring topics into the most interesting and engaging lessons. the exams are held at the end of each semester once in Dec/Jan and the other in May/June. the difficulty levels are mild and if one does study a fair bit of the course material they become even more easy. The fees of the college are definitely on the higher side, but at the same time, they also offer several scholarships throughout the year to help students with weaker financial backgrounds.

Placement Experience:

Various MNCs from all kinds of sectors visit our college every year for placements and it does indeed provide really good prospects for the students to get placed at good starting positions. The average package is around 8-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am currently enrolled in BSc Hons chemistry and 1 am in the second semester right now I chose this course because I am genuinely interested in studying chemistry, if I talk about faulty they are so kind and helpful in your studies if you are a kind of person who is serious for studies this college is meant for you because teachers regularly check your file and copies and take the test since no of students are less in this course teacher take care each one of students how they are doing The difficulty level of the exams is medium not too tough and not too easy, fees depend upon which course you opt which is chemistry so it's a little more expensive than arts due to lab facilities. But you can get scholarships in college and they offer many scholarships during the curriculum

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities are quite decent for economics students and computer science students but for science, most of the students go for higher studies most of the time abroad or at IIT or IISC our placement cell is strong they take different types of interview and train them before they choose council members for placement cell, companies like the academy, Amazon, Flipkart and many more come to campus and offers package the process is fair in sitting for placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as it gives multiple subjects to study in the honors subject we have to study only 1 subject and in BAP we have options to choose multiple subjects this is a benefit for the students as I have taken English as a major and political as a minor so I can take GE as one more main subject so I have taken economics but if a student took political and history he or she has to take language in both the semester. There are almost 20 to 25 scholarships given to students some are for the needful scholarship and some are academic scholarships and merit scholarships are provided by the college starting from 10000 to 30000 per year. The qualification of teachers is so many teachers have 25 years of teaching experience and they are always kind and ready to help students and they are strict about giving the internal marks.

Remarks:

Factors are the Environment of the college is so different from the other colleges. Students are so less as compared to other colleges so the quality of education is maintained. The selection process of college is fully biased on CUET and after that 50 percent of students are taken from CUET and 50 percent are from Christian quata there is a condition that 85 percent of marks are taken from CUET and 15 percent are from the interview. I am from Christian Quata so I gave this interview. First, we have to fill out the form about the college and in this, we have to give our details and also why we chose this college. Why did you choose this course? And many more questions. Then there is an interview process different time slots are given to students and there are also two rounds 1st the documents verification round and then the interview in interview they asked self introduction and some basic questions and your achievements then they ask religious questions and then from the academics questions.
