Best college for Econ Honours. Good aspect was that you get go to a top college and learn from people from different ethnicities and backgrounds. Bad aspect can be the bitter/tough competition for every opportunity. Yes, i had an interview for admission. The panelists were from Economics Faculty only.
The teachers actually take pain and teach you stuff unlike other colleges where there any only presentations that too by the students. Faculty was actually qualified and exams were also conducted according to the datesheet. Difficulty level of exams was also fine. If you studied, then you can easily score an 8 out of 10.
I got internships on linkedin. Summer intern- State Bank of India Also worked at a no. of startups like Kylo Apps, YesPustak, Ifortis Worldwide throughout college life. Companies like Deutsche Bank, Kpmg, Salesforce came for summer internships.
Most companies had their own specific demands for the courses that were eligible mainly the job/internship opportunities were for students from Econ and Math. Highest Package was around 26 LPA. I got placed through college only and now I am working in Gurugram only.
Fees was around 20k for 3 semesters and 24k for 3 semesters. This was on alternate basis depending on odd or even semester. I think people with disabilities didn’t have to pay anything. They only had to pay for the Residence if they were living in the hostel.
Life at campus was competitive yet peaceful. There was silence on the campus and you could chill with your friends. I was not a part of any society but I was the captain of the college basketball team and that was an honour. Books were available at the photostat shop in the college only.
Not opted for Residence. Hostel fees mentioned below is per month. Also there is no AC in the residence. Food quality for special events was okay. For regular days, it was just as any other hostel- neither too good nor too bad. For rentals ie PG or a flat you have places like Vijay Nagar, Kamla Nagar, Malkaganj etc all in close vicinty.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
