This college is one of the best colleges in all the India and teaching faculty are supportive but they expect you to study hard and become perfect in everything like balancing your studies and society, the campus is really good and environment friendly the bad aspect of this college is the fees are too high and not everyone gets the residence ( hostel) you have to score high for being in residence, college is completely free with the political environment and you will get good exposure due to distinguish alumni like Shashi Tharoor, S jay Shankar and many more come to college frequently.
I am currently enrolled in BSc Hons chemistry and 1 am in the second semester right now I chose this course because I am genuinely interested in studying chemistry, if I talk about faulty they are so kind and helpful in your studies if you are a kind of person who is serious for studies this college is meant for you because teachers regularly check your file and copies and take the test since no of students are less in this course teacher take care each one of students how they are doing The difficulty level of the exams is medium not too tough and not too easy, fees depend upon which course you opt which is chemistry so it's a little more expensive than arts due to lab facilities. But you can get scholarships in college and they offer many scholarships during the curriculum
So the process for an internship is very simple you have to mail your CV to the campus placement cell and then they conduct a talk session where companies and students sit and talk and compines can ask for an interview and even for a written test you can enrol in as many intern companies comes , if you are not satisfied with your package you can get another chance to sit in years two times company comes 1 in summer internship and winter internship

Campus Life is really good, the infrastructure is not that good because it's a 143-year-old college but not that bad many classes have AC in college we have almost 100 different types of society and you have to work for the society in the first year and in the second year based on your work report they choose you in council but before that, you have to give an interview the process is fair. The library is very big in our college and it has different sections like chemistry, maths, and English they have almost every book that you need for your curriculum and they have foreign authors' books you can rent a book for 1 week. The extracurricular activities keep happening in college since there are many societies and most of them are active. The hostel is poor because it doesn't have any AC or cooler and the mess food is bad so I think you should go with pg and the hostel fees are really high almost 80000 per semester
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
