Likes
- Campus is so calm and serene when compared to the neighbouring colleges and the city of Delhi. It gives us a perfect environment for studies.
- The faculties are all top notch. You'll get the same quality of education provided by the so called "Sonipat colleges" for a fraction of the fees.
Dislikes
- Nothing to be disliked but Stephen's is relatively strict when compared to the other colleges in the university. It can be a little liberal.
- The obsession for perfection demanded by the college can be a little too overwhelming for many students.
- The morning assemblies can be avoided. It gives me flashbacks of my school life
Remarks :
The BA history of St Stephen's college is one of the best history courses offered for undergraduate students in the country. There was no interviews for the general candidates bit the Christian minority students had a personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is the best option if you're looking for an undergraduate degree in history. I was so happy and delighted to see eminent scholars and authors like Dr Mahesh Gopalan and Dr Naina Dayal in my faculty list. The exam schedule includes 2 internal assessment tests for each paper and one end semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internships yet but I'm planning to do sone in my second year. The college placement cell is very helpful and accessible when it comes to finding internships. But it is to be noted that most of the opportunities are for students of BA economics
Placement Experience :
Students are usually eligible for placements after the 5th semester. Many companies like wipro, deloitte and microsoft visit the college annually for placements. Students also receive stipends to continue their studies. But it is to be noted that most of the internship opportunities are for students who are from Economics or science background.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is 22,250 per semester. So it adds up to 44500 per semester. The fee division will be clearly mentioned in the fee receipt given by the university. The fee is significantly low for PwD students which makes the college more inclusive.
Campus Life :
Our annual fest is named harmony, it is a cultural and artistic extravaganza. Our college library provides countless books and other documents for free as long as you're a bonafide student of the college. Stephens is known to be one of the best colleges in terms of extracurricular activities. And the exposure provided by the societies and other clubs are very helpful.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
