Delhi University has implemented the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses across all its affiliated colleges. The admission process is detailed as follows:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

Applicants must fill out the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by submitting a one-time non-refundable application fee.

Additional fees are required for ECA and sports quota candidates.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

The second phase begins after the declaration of the CUET examination results. Following the CUET result, eligible candidates are required to select courses and indicate their preferred colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

Henceforth, merit lists will be published based on CUET scores with multiple rounds of seat allotment. Candidates must check their CSAS dashboard to verify if they have been allocated a seat. The seat allocation depends on various factors such as the combination of college and program chosen, the candidate's position on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and seat availability. Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed, but the lectures allotted are very less to complete the entire course in one semester. Usually with few professors, you need to cover up the syllabus yourselves. Sociology infact does give you alot of exposure in terms of concepts such as stratification, religion, family, politics etc. The end sem exams are relatively easier and do able however IA and CA- the internal assessments continue throughout the semester and can become burdening. Attendance marks are also seriously taken into account.

Placement Experience:

The highest package bagged was around 45LPA, while an average package is around 10-15 LPA. However placement options are more for students enrolled in commerce or economics as compared to others. While yes, the name of LSR is quite big and reputed in the job market, allowing for easy employability. But most of the students try to go for further studies in masters rather than opt for a job.

History as a subject always fascinated me and I had a keen interest in it. Therefore I opted for History Hons. The faculty of my course is highly qualified. They explain each and every topic very well. They even repeat the things in Hindi for Hindi medium students as they might face some issues. They also try their best to make students feel comfortable in the college during their first semester. When you are with them, you feel like you can share anything. We only have semester exams at the end of each semester. First semester exams are held between December and January while Second semester exams are held between May and June.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in our college. Students are placed during their third years. To sit for placements, students must score 7 CGPA or above in their semester exams. Failing they won't be allowed to sit for the placements. The average package is around 5-6LPA.

The teachers are very helpful a knowledgeable they have in the pass out of really good universities and colleges. In fact the interaction among student and teacher is really friendly and helpful they are flexible in giving you good marks. Yes the course curriculum is also relevant to the industry because it is not theoretical it is analytical which is required by the industries. Semester exams are a bit moderate to difficult level they are not very easy not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

So basically not all the students sit for placement but the ones who sit among those 60% of student get placed and others either pursue their Masters of prepare for some job. The highest package last year was 45 Lacs and the average package rangers from 10 Lacs to 12 lacs. So basically the major factor in deciding the placement is the course and the major placements are taken from economics honours B.Com Honours mathematics Honours and like these. Remarks:

Best Economics faculty and academic session. It's considered that srcc and LSR are the best for doing econ hons but then I realised that srcc has its speciality in bcom and economics is considered best in LSR. Moreover, as an economics student which is a multi discipline course, lsr was my choice coz I get to learn about other disciplines and get indulged in debates with other disciplines too

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always liked literature so going for it wasn't really a tough call but rather following my passion. The faculty of the college has helped me greatly in taking this passion further and shaping it. The professors are well qualified and have PHDs. The term exams are conducted by du around march/april and December/January. The difficulty level isn't that high as long as you just wanna pass.

Placement Experience:

I am not quite sure since clear course wise information isn't provided but I think majority of placements are received by the commerce or economics related courses. The average placement package of our college is 10LPA and the highest last year was 50LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is difficult and requires a good of amount of time and effort to understand. If you are someone who struggles with mathematics i won't suggest to go for it. But if you like numbers and have a kick for it, it definitely a great course. Faculty is very supportive.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great here. Even though it's really competitive. We have the highest placement in DU which is 50 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. The placement cell is very active and constantly working towards improving placements.
