I choose this college because it was always my dream to get into lsr because of the allumni network of the college including Tina dabi manu bhakar and many more interesting personalities. Which also includes celebrities from Bollywood. Also the the campus is very safe for girls and here the seniors are very good. And secondly it was among the best college for economics honours or I would say the top college that's why I choose this college. Admission into lsr you have to pass into the c u ET exam and then on the basis of your marks you will be allotted lsr or some other college based on your preference list. The cut off for the under reserved category is above 700 marks out of 800 and for the reserved category it is above 600 marks and for some special category it is 500-600 marks. The syllabus of exam is very similar to the class 12th so just read NCERT and practice mock papers.
The teachers are very helpful a knowledgeable they have in the pass out of really good universities and colleges. In fact the interaction among student and teacher is really friendly and helpful they are flexible in giving you good marks. Yes the course curriculum is also relevant to the industry because it is not theoretical it is analytical which is required by the industries. Semester exams are a bit moderate to difficult level they are not very easy not very difficult.
I have interned at skill guru foundation as a tutor At zuno by foundit as a campus ambassador At pawzz foundation as a content writer So basically I was entered at these companies and the internship experience was also very good someone unpaid internships others were paid internship as well.
So basically not all the students sit for placement but the ones who sit among those 60% of student get placed and others either pursue their Masters of prepare for some job. The highest package last year was 45 Lacs and the average package rangers from 10 Lacs to 12 lacs. So basically the major factor in deciding the placement is the course and the major placements are taken from economics honours B.Com Honours mathematics Honours and like these. The many top recruiting companies including Google Amazon Flipkart paypal e y Deloitte etc. Top rolls are Data analytics HR etc
So the fees for the first year of economics honours is 20400. And as the year increases the fees also increases slightly. Before that there is the cuet exam registration fees which is around 1000 to 2000 rupees depends on the reserved or unreserved category and also after see you it there is the Delhi University registration fees which is again rs 2000. There is no other charges of the college beside the annual fees. And scholarships are also provided but they are mostly on the merit based there are some scholarship which are need based as well.
Then will fest of lsr is Tarang which is among the best fest of Delhi University. The top artist including stand up comedian singers musical bands came. Tarang is basically conducted in the months of February and March it is a three day long fest. There are two libraries in my college and it contains newly every book from ancient to the modern world and newspapers as well. The sports campus of lsr is also very good it is basically providing training of every sport to the student and the equipments are also available. There are many societies and clubs that are Solely run by the student body and they do have a impact on the society. Like the drama society dance society debating society m u n society placement cell and many more.
The hostels have not been provided since 2 years because they are under renovation but hopefully from 2025 they will be resumed. But I have heard from my seniors that the hostel facility is really good basically the hostel have double seater rooms and it is allocated on the basis of marks. But the hostel facilities are only for the first year in 2nd year the student have to leave the hostel and look out for some other location.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
