- LSR is consistently ranked among the top colleges in India, and is known for its quality education, critical thinking, and learner-centric approach. LSR's Enactus society has won awards for its projects, including the Enactus: 77 Film Festival and the Enactus World Cup.
Dislikes
- Strict attendance is a major issue in lsr . If attendance of any students is lower than 75% she is not allowed to sit in exams and teacher take attendance everyday and there is no chance of proxy. It is mandatory to go college daily for attendance.
- The canteen of lsr is not so spacious and according to quality and prices food is also not worth it and the Varities of food is very miminum in lsr .
Remarks :
Lady shri ram college is renowned for its greenery , best infrastructure and equipments of high quality the academic structure and all other aspects of these college influenced me a lot that's why I chose this college . Strict attendance , high rate in canteen are some bad Factors of lsr. I gave cuet -Ug after 12th on the basis of cuet score I got admission in lsr .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bachelor of elementary education (b.el.ed)it is a 4 year integrated professional course . It is a best option for making career in teaching profession. The aims of our course in b.el.ed is building effective leaders in education. B.el.ed is a bilingual course. Our faculty members are best . They taught us many methods of teaching and mostly take us on visits of school , slum collab with NGOs. The final exams happen in may -June and level of exam is medium.
Internships Opportunities :
This is my first year so now I have no option for internships and jobs but in 3-4 year I got so many opportunities for internships and jobs. But there are a lot of opportunities and internships that are currently our seniors are doing
Placement Experience :
There is a placements cell in lsr that provides various opportunities for internships and jobs . In the last year of college people from various companies came in in our colleges for giving jobs etc. Many reputed companies come to LSR for internships and campus placements including Barclays, DeShaw, BCG, Kepler Cannon, Accenture, Paytm etc.The highest package is INR 40 LPA, the lowest is INR 5 LPA, and the average package is INR 10 LPA. After degree I am planning to do m.ed and as well as do a job in government schools and work with NGOs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee per annum for the course is 24000. The fees is increasing at rate of 10% per annum. The college also provides it's own scholarship/ freeship to students in merit cumulative means basis. Also you can fill other govt scholarship for sc/st and IBC category which are also merit cumulative means based.
Campus Life :
Tarang is annual fest of our college that mostly happens around March- April. Lsr library is like heaven means there are around 12000 collections of books and journals. The interior space of library is very peaceful and warming .lsr promotes sports a lot .NSO is a sport organization in lsr and there are many societies in lsr such as lsr MUN, debate society, dance society and many more and Nss and ncc is also a part of lsr.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
