- Almost everything, canteen food is good for its prices there is a nescafe shop and a mother dairy shop and my fav place in clg is the library, its just very peaceful. The rooms are ohkish but according to a govt. Clg they are good
Dislikes
- As for dislikes, one of the aspects I don't particularly enjoy about the college is the strict attendance policy. The college is very particular about student attendance , i mean not that much now but yeah you gotta maintain the attendance somehow . This can be cumbersome for students who have legitimate reasons for missing classes.
Remarks :
The main factors that influenced my decision to choose this college were: Strong academic reputation Excellent infrastructure and facilities Good placement opportunities Reasonable fees compared to other colleges in the city I had to attend written tests as part of the admission process. The written test is CUET. The admission process was quite competitive but I won't say it was like that hard but yeah it is competitive
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am very satisfied with the course curriculum, academics, and faculties at this college. The course provides thorough knowledge and practical skills that will be useful in the industry. I chose this course because it aligns with my career goals and interests. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields, and the teaching methods are effective in imparting knowledge. Term exams are held promptly, and the difficulty level is appropriate for the course. The feedback provided on assignments and exams is helpful in improving my understanding of the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Since i am in my first year , i haven't joined in any internship and for internship, in second year you will get many opportunities for internships. But incase you want to do internships and all in first year , there will be like many opportunities and all . So thats a no worry in this criteria.
Placement Experience :
Ohk the best part of my college . The highest package recorded in Du this year till now is 49lacs which was bagged by student in LSR. And always have been on the top since years the average placement also goes around 8-10 lacs . The placement is what LSR is famous for. But the placement are mostly for those students who have courses like eco hons or bcom hons etc.

The detailed fee structure for the 3 year program is as follows: Year 1: Tuition fees: INR 64,000/year Caution deposit: INR 5,000 Registration/Admission fee: INR 10,000 Development fee: INR 3,000 Lab fee: INR 12,000 Other compulsory charges: INR 5,500 Grand total for year 1: INR 91,000
Campus Life :
Life in LSR is pretty chill and peaceful, you will see many interesting students and learn so much. There is our fest called TARANG which happens in march for like three days and its been one of the largest fest in Du. And if you love reading and studying, the library and the reference room is the best , there are many many books that you can enjoy. For sports also there are many sports available but I wont say its the best or efficient but yes its not that bad There are many social groups and clubs from department and student union like hive society, dramsoc etc etc You will have a lot of options in general.
Hostel Facilities :
For now , the hostel service in LSR is not available and its been like 1-2 years maybe for hostel to be closed , the reason why is ki there is renovations hoing on. But you will find many pgs near LSR at good prices and good facilities.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
