- I really like the dogs and how well all the animals are cared for.
- Another's thing I love is the free access to jstor as it gives you access to numerous free essays and text that you can use in research.
Dislikes
- I this the college washroom would do better with a bit of improvement.
- Sometimes the admin can be a bit rude instead of understanding.
Remarks :
I did some research on youtube and also asked around while making the preference list. LSR is a reputed college so choosing it wasn't a doubtful decision. One needs to sit for the CUET exam to clear the cutoff that differs according to your category. If you are in general catering the cut off will be more than 770, which is quite high. To prepare for it I referred to the CBSE syllabus as well as oswal question banks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always liked literature so going for it wasn't really a tough call but rather following my passion. The faculty of the college has helped me greatly in taking this passion further and shaping it. The professors are well qualified and have PHDs. The term exams are conducted by du around march/april and December/January. The difficulty level isn't that high as long as you just wanna pass.
Internships Opportunities :
No, not really, I was a bit caught up with the college societies and clubs and didn't have much time for an internship. Though the placement cell works quite effectively and you do get paid internships on the first sem of second year.
Placement Experience :
I am not quite sure since clear course wise information isn't provided but I think majority of placements are received by the commerce or economics related courses. The average placement package of our college is 10LPA and the highest last year was 50LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees for my course ranges from 17000-20000. It is same for other categorise too as per my knowledge. However the pwbd students pay the fee of 1550 rupees. The college does provide scholarships on merit basis.
Campus Life :
We have two major fests and a few minor ones as well. The two major fests are noor and tarang. Noor takes place around diwali and the tarang usually takes place during the first week of march. I really like the campus' environment and the people here. The canteen is hygienic but they've increased the prices a bit. The campus is very clean (except the toilets that need a little work). Other than that the library is also good and the college also provides us with online library subscriptions like jstor and nlist.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I haven't opted for hostel, or PG as so I don't know much about that. But as much as I've heard the nearby PGs are safe and good. They can be a bit expensive ranging from 15k to 35k but you can look for cheaper options too. I can't say much about the hostel as.it is under construction at the moment.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
