Best Economics faculty and academic session. It's considered that srcc and LSR are the best for doing econ hons but then I realised that srcc has its speciality in bcom and economics is considered best in LSR. Moreover, as an economics student which is a multi discipline course, lsr was my choice coz I get to learn about other disciplines and get indulged in debates with other disciplines too
Nice one, amazing professors, demands attendance but still chill in respect with if you do not meet that criteria. Professors tech like their own kids and explain as many times you aks them. Overall amazing faculty
LSR offers like every other DU college, scholarships and fellowships which are totally based on a certain level of cgpa, but it also is majorly relying on the category (obc/sc/st) and the income level. And particularly in each department, the student scoring highest gets some reward or scholarship too that does not depend on the income background or category, in economics department, it's called the Saroj Gupta Memorial Scholarship based on one former professor in the department.
Initially good, everyone is soo sweet, you'll realise you can talk to anyone moving around in thecanous, if you overhear someone's talkin' you can always add more and start a chit chat, a very friendly and sweet space. Fir women the abode of peace. But suddenly as years pass everyone becomes so busy and Passionate with their career, they start becoming selfish and you start facing toxicity.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
