LSR's highly qualified faculty, it's legacy and it's alumni influenced me to choose this college. No kind of Group discussion or interview is taken for admission into DU colleges and LSR is one of them. Students just have to give CUET exams and then according to their marks and the cut off of the applied course and colleges they are allocated seats. CUET exam is primarily based on NCERT. Go through NCERT thoroughly. Also, make sure to appear in CUET in all those subjects that you had in your class 12. This is a necessary requirement of DU.
History as a subject always fascinated me and I had a keen interest in it. Therefore I opted for History Hons. The faculty of my course is highly qualified. They explain each and every topic very well. They even repeat the things in Hindi for Hindi medium students as they might face some issues. They also try their best to make students feel comfortable in the college during their first semester. When you are with them, you feel like you can share anything. We only have semester exams at the end of each semester. First semester exams are held between December and January while Second semester exams are held between May and June.
I did not opt for internships hence I can not give the required information regarding this. I am not sure if internships are provided by our college or not. Therefore the information such as names of companies and the stipend offered can't be given by me
There is a placement cell in our college. Students are placed during their third years. To sit for placements, students must score 7 CGPA or above in their semester exams. Failing they won't be allowed to sit for the placements. The average package is around 5-6LPA.
The college fees is paid annually only at LSR. There's no quarterly or half yearly fee payment procedure. The scholarship is provided at the end of passing an academic year to academically brilliant students who belong to economically weaker sections. Apart from these, freeships are also provided.
The annual fest of LSR is Tarang, conducted in March- April. It is a three day fest where different competitions like quiz, debate, song, dance are conducted between different colleges of DU. Participants from other colleges also come for these competitions. DJ and Muzic nights are also held where artists are called. Various Speaker sessions also take place where speakers Great speakers come to inspire and aware the students. LSR library is quite huge with tons of books of all the subjects for academic as well as non academic purposes. Classrooms have projector although AC is not there in the classrooms. LSR also has annual run conducted by NSO LSR. Extra curricular activities almost daily take place. There are different societies in college like Quiz society, Dance society, Indian and western music society, Enactus,Drama society, the film making society,Women development cell, Interface, NSS, Debate society.Apart from these college societies there are different teams in each department

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
