Yes! LSR hostel is the best! The food was amazing serving veg and non veg too and 4times a meal in a day . There is Separate admission for hostel and preference is given to the pwdh category student and based on family income
LSR campus is to die for! From the ice tea and Maggie from Nescafé to the OG CAFE NOT CANTEEN! The lsr lawns are not less than mini Mughal gardens! The Tarang is the most awaited fest of lsr happens during the month of March! It’s the magic of lsr! The library is well equipped and has a reference room too

Read Full ReviewOur annual fest is Tarang. It is held in February or March each year. We also have Noor, our Diwali fest, only for the student body of LSR. We have our individual department fests too, in which we can host competitions and call speakers. There are around 33 societies along with many other unrecognized clubs and cells. Students are free to start their own too. Library is well-kept. We also have a reference library section.

In the library there are plenty of books for all departments apart from course books they also have magazines, newspapers, fiction and non-fiction books. We have a projector in some classes and a whiteboard only. So for sports, they have a wide variety of sports from which you can choose for yourself. Even if u are a beginner or want to start a new sport, they'll teach you. E.g., lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis, shooting, etc. We have multiple societies and clubs which are being run by students. We can choose any society, and then we have to give the interview for the following. We have societies like music, dance, photography, drama, etc.
Read Full ReviewHostel facility is not available this year due to ongoing construction work. There are plenty of PGs around the area ranging from 12k-25k depending on your specific requirements. The National Park area behind the college is a specific PG area, then there's Amar Colony, GK 1, Kailash colony area which also have many PGs.
Campus life at LSR is very serene and slow paced. You get ample time for yourself and to explore the natural beauty of the college which connects you to the nature. Making friends won't be a hassle as you'll meet plenty of like minded people. The infrastructure of the college is A lot better than many DU colleges with a spacious auditorium, 2 lush green lawns, air conditioned libraries and conference halls, 2 seminar rooms. The college has a good sports facility with a football field and a basketball court, badminton and tennis area. The college has so many societies that at some point it feels exhausting, but it's great if you're interested in extra curriculars are the college societies of LSR are pretty reputed. There are performing societies like DramSoc, Indian Music Soc, Western Music Soc, Dance Soc with Indian, western and choreo wings and the Fine Arts Society. The annual fest named Tarang is hosted in March.

The college lacks ACs, but the campus is very green so it doesn't get too hot. Hostel facility available for only first years, but we have a ton of pages near by
Read Full ReviewCollege hostel is CLOSED as it is under rennovation so we never got an option to stay in hostel but the food menu from what i heard was really nice with three meals and snacks being offered. I live in a PG, like 10 minute walk but it can get quite expensive around 15- 25k of expenses per month is the norm. Due to a girls college the back gate does experience some safety issues.
Tarang is a three day annual festival in march - alot of fun, various competitons and artists perform. NSS Mela is also held around diwali and DBR sports meet is also conducted once a year. College infact has two libraries - good stock of academic books and stuff. Students can also start their own socs, though it is quite challenging such as MARKSOC and Nazakat- fashion socities are newer student set bodies. There are numerous opportunities for extracurriculars. But one can also face imposter syndrome as multi talented students are usually part of the the college.
Read Full ReviewI can't provide much Information regarding the hostel as it has been closed for the past 2 years due to some renovation work being happening there. But the college is available only for the first year. I'm currently living in a pg near college. The distance of my Pg from college is just 10 mins.
The annual fest of LSR is Tarang, conducted in March- April. It is a three day fest where different competitions like quiz, debate, song, dance are conducted between different colleges of DU. Participants from other colleges also come for these competitions. DJ and Muzic nights are also held where artists are called. Various Speaker sessions also take place where speakers Great speakers come to inspire and aware the students. LSR library is quite huge with tons of books of all the subjects for academic as well as non academic purposes. Classrooms have projector although AC is not there in the classrooms. LSR also has annual run conducted by NSO LSR. Extra curricular activities almost daily take place. There are different societies in college like Quiz society, Dance society, Indian and western music society, Enactus,Drama society,the film making society,Women development cell, Interface, NSS, Debate society.Apart from these college societies there are different teams in each department
Read Full ReviewThe hostels have not been provided since 2 years because they are under renovation but hopefully from 2025 they will be resumed. But I have heard from my seniors that the hostel facility is really good basically the hostel have double seater rooms and it is allocated on the basis of marks. But the hostel facilities are only for the first year in 2nd year the student have to leave the hostel and look out for some other location.
Then will fest of lsr is Tarang which is among the best fest of Delhi University. The top artist including stand up comedian singers musical bands came. Tarang is basically conducted in the months of February and March it is a three day long fest. There are two libraries in my college and it contains newly every book from ancient to the modern world and newspapers as well. The sports campus of lsr is also very good it is basically providing training of every sport to the student and the equipments are also available. There are many societies and clubs that are Solely run by the student body and they do have a impact on the society. Like the drama society dance society debating society m u n society placement cell and many more.
