- The gardens of LSR are very much maintained and a common hang out spot for students. You can also cuddle with the campus dogs!
- Everyone is very helpful and kind and there's an overall atmosphere of support
Dislikes
- The college should invest in installing ACs in classes atleast
- There aren't any other DU colleges near by so it may feel a little secluded
Remarks :
I chose LSR because it's one of the top colleges of Delhi University with an exceptional English department. I had to clear the CUET test with a high score to get admitted to this prestigious institution
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is exceptional, with professors ranging from ages 30 to as much as 60. They are very accommodating and welcome class discussions which make literature even more fun! Many of them are scholars of the readings they teach, so their points are very insightful
Placement Experience :
Placements are offered by our placement cell which is very active. Students are recruited throughout disciplines and courses to ensure everyone gets a chance to experience the internships. CV vetting is done by the college and the process is fast and seemless
Campus Life :
The campus is equipped with a reading room and library with every resource. We are given passwords to scholarly websites like JSTO. The college lacks ACs, but the campus is very green so it doesn't get too hot. Hostel facility available for only first years, but we have a ton of pages near by

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
