Remarks :

I chose this college because it was a girl's college, and also, its vibe is immaculate. The admission process was to give one exam known as CUET, through which we were selected based on that exam. Here in this college, the program is the most chosen one, and after that,s, bcom h is the most difficult one to maintain. The cutoffs were high in every round. Before this college, I got admitted to Ramjas, but I chose this one because here, the placement is very high, and the opportunities are also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For me, this course has a wider scope in the finance world in the future. It is difficult but also very important for us to learn about this. We are provided calculators, which are good because they'll help us in exams but not to be dependent on them. We are also giving a minor degree choice for that we have to fulfil 4years to get the minor degree. Faculty I would say the student council or the student union takes matters very seriously if there is any disturbance caused by someone. The faculty members are good because they make sure everyone understands the subjects and also clear our doubts. There is only one exam after our mid-semester break. I don't know about the difficulty, but we have continuous classes where group discussions and other assignments and tests take place.

Internships Opportunities :

I don't have any knowledge regarding this, but some 1st year students do internships on their own, not from college. Nss provides volunteering and other internships. 2nd or 3rd year are placed in different companies for internship.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell is good overall as it provides us with many opportunities. Many companies have visited in the past, and many students have been placed in higher companies. This year, one student got a 48 lac pa placement offer, which was one of the highest in the whole of Du University. The highest was 48lac, and the average are 7 to 10 lac. My plans after completing this degree are to start my own business or pursue higher studies. Mostly McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Kepler Cannon, DE Shaw, Accenture, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For one year it is around 40k. I have no clue about the other fees, but for caste, they provide 5000 or 6000 less on the total amount. They provide various types of scholarships for students some are performance-based, and some are merit-based. There are different types of scholarships for different departments and also there are some for 1-year students and some for final-year students who gave excellent merit performance.

Campus Life :

We have an annual fest known as Tarang which is held in March. In the library there are plenty of books for all departments apart from course books they also have magazines, newspapers, fiction and non-fiction books. We have a projector in some classes and a whiteboard only. So for sports, they have a wide variety of sports from which you can choose for yourself. Even if u are a beginner or want to start a new sport, they'll teach you. E.g., lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis, shooting, etc. We have multiple societies and clubs which are being run by students. We can choose any society, and then we have to give the interview for the following. We have societies like music, dance, photography, drama, etc.

Distance learning along with fun.

Placement Experience :

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

DU Experience Packed with Learning, Practical Skills, and Dedicated Student Portfolio

Placement Experience :

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Placement Experience :

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
