Lady Shri Ram College for Women is the nation's top women's college. We have distinguished faculty and a beautiful campus, as well as the most supportive and wonderful group of women I've had the pleasure of knowing. I did not face any group discussions or interviews or written tests for admission, as I am part of the CUET batch. Only our CUET score was taken into consideration.
I chose this course because it allowed me to smoothly segway into a world of finance. I am minoring in economics which allows me to pursue my original dream degree alongside a challenging yet highly interesting course like Maths. The faculty is highly experienced and it shows in their manner of teaching and in their empathy towards students coming from school math to college math. The term exams consist of endsems and internals, both happening within 2 months of each other. So yes, while the work does pile on in November and April in the odd/even sems respectively, it is still manageable and flexible to a large degree. My course in particular is a little difficult but it is par for the course when studying a subject like Mathematics.
Many companies come to college for internships, including BlackRock, McKinsey, HUL, Macquarie, Barclays and Accenture. Many companies also have PPOs at the end of these internships. The average stipend is 45000/- per month.
The placements in our college are impressive. We boast of the highest placement in all of Delhi University, a student from Maths H, Batch of 2024, got placed in BlackStone with a package of 49 Lakhs. Other than that there were 215+ placement offers made.
I pay around 21-24k per year to be enrolled in the Maths H course. Fees for other courses also remains similar. There are a few scholarships available for students such as the Azim Prem Scholarship, Reliance scholarship and the Inspire Scholarship for students.
Our annual fest is Tarang. It is held in February or March each year. We also have Noor, our Diwali fest, only for the student body of LSR. We have our individual department fests too, in which we can host competitions and call speakers. There are around 33 societies along with many other unrecognized clubs and cells. Students are free to start their own too. Library is well-kept. We also have a reference library section.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
